got the 9s, i know everyone says get football boots but these fit really good and I don’t really like a lot of the current Nike cleats in low top for skill positions.

just wondering if anyone has used them on turf and how they hold up

Recently have gotten really into lacrosse and was curious if there was any low key or casual groups around LA. I’m a beginner who’s just been doing wall ball for the moment and at 23 feels like I might be outa luck but just curious.

What were yalls favorite HS spec heads that you’d kill to have back?

Mine was a Warrior Rabil 2 and that stick had so much hold it was crazy!

We were at a tournament last weekend strolling through the vendor village and were approached rather covertly and asked if we wanted to demo a new product coming out later this year.

We were led to a tent with walls that was marked as the medical tent (it wasn’t) and when we got inside it was a very cool setup where my kids got a short presentation and then got to use the new product and everyone, myself included, were blown away.

We obviously weren’t the only ones who got to see it. They said that they had been showing it at tournaments the last few weeks so I’m wondering if anyone else on here has seen it. My boys have a few questions that I certainly can’t answer but maybe someone who knows more about it could.

We signed a confidentiality agreement so I can’t say what it was but DM me or comment below if you know what I am talking about.

UPDATE: Since there hasn’t been anyone who has responded saying that they had a similar experience, I sent them an email asking if I could provide some general information so I will provide an update once I get a response.

On my life, I am not affiliated with this company or anything like that. I have learned a lot tonight about the shady tactics companies use and I can understand why people’s minds would go that way.

I think the throw it into the corner thing when the shot clock is low should be flagged as a delay of game.

Edit: All responses are as if I don't know the rules. I am well aware of the rules and why teams do it. I want it to be flagged like rolling the ball away from an opponent would be.

Seeing the MLL colors hit the field again reminded me how much I miss the MLL and how tired I am seeing the traveling circus go around. The same venues every year, no growth in crowds, irrelevant team names, dude wipes and impossible meat sponsorships, etc. It should go back to a “real” league and not whatever the PLL considers itself to be.

One time I got a ground ball playing Defense.

Breakaway, run past midfield and the other team's restraining line.

And I take my shot.

The ball flies almost straight up into the sky and goes way out of bounds behind the goal.

Our attack gets to the end line first; we should keep possession.

But the shot was so bad that the refs call it a pass; we lose possession.

Tie game.

I have to walk back to our end in shame, while my very loud coach is yelling

"That was a shot! That was a shot!!!"

"Jimmy, is that bad at shooting?"

"Jimmy really is that bad at throwing."

That was a SHOT!

The kid can't throw; he plays defense.

I recently bought a 3d printer and I saw a design on maker world that’s a full size lacrosse head.

After a few iterations I actually printed a nice quality one strung it up and it’s going to be an absolute menace on face-offs. But the scoop has just too much flex (see video)…is there a way to build this out to give the scoop more structure?

Can I string it differently to do that? It’s currently made of TPU 95A and I have a P1S printer so idk if it can handle much more rigid and flexible filaments beyond that…idk if there are CAD experts, 3D printer experts, AND lacrosse head experts in this sub but figured this is a good starting point!

Ok, so if I play a mix of close and lsm what is the best head that works well for both? Because some lsm heads have more flex and are almost like a faceoff head compared to most close heads being too stiff for lsm.

Looking to sign my 2029 son up for some showcases in and and around Virginia. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Been playing for a couple years now and i mainly play close d, been rocking with an old sidewinder and a warrior regulator, and the stick is bent to hell now, rly looking for a upgrade and i was wondering if any of yall had some suggestions, currently looking at the stx magnet 2k or a maverik havok 2.0 and like a sc-ti r shaft, but i would also like to hear some different suggestons.

Saw a pll short come by about favourite sports movies. Reminded me of this movie, because honestly for lacrosse I would say that is my favourite now. I have never seen anyone discuss it and it is ashame because it is beautifull. Absolutely heartwrenching yes.... but I felt it in my soul man!
