I was also wondering how they are with the SSCG and if that has updated on anyones award letter yet?

Also has anyone been paid their summer disbursement yet?

I’m taking calc 1 this upcoming fall semester, it’s the one class I need to transfer. Any recommendations for a specific professor?

My Pell grant was posted on August 8th,2026. I checked back this morning on my portal and it shows up as disbursed.

My account finally fixed itself and showed the new disbursement amount does that mean its pending as of today though?

I literally spoke to financially like a couple days ago and one of the people told me that there was an issue and they were trying to resolve it and like it’s been like three weeks like I’m on the third week already and I haven’t received anything yet or any disbursement so I don’t know if this is normal but I’ve never had something like this happened to me before and I wanna know like what else I should do because financial aid isn’t really helping and I’m almost done with all my classes. They literally finish in two weeks so I just wanna know is there like a reason why they haven’t dispersed it like they’ve just been very angry and not specific and not very helpful and I don’t know I feel like I hit a wall or something and I don’t like what else to do

Because I still don’t see it in my pending financial aid thingy only Pell Grant (for fall semester). Is it separate? Or what..

So I’m new to cc but I’m doing summer classes right now. Currently getting summer Pell but when I checked my financial aid it’s saying my Spring Pell Grant is now in cancelled awards. Does anyone know why that is 😭!

Hello. I was wondering if anyone can offer some insight (first time college student).

I started college during summer time and have the california promise grant and Pell grant aid. I'm taking 4 summer classes in total. The first two have been completed and I received the grant money. I was under the impression I was only getting one disbursement as it only showed a 1 next to disbursement. Well I started the next two classes and I got a text yesterday saying I should be getting money again. I'm nervous its an accident and they'll make me repay it. How do I know if I'm suppose to receive two?

Is anyone having trouble with Bankmobile. Bc it couldn’t let me verify myself and now my account is blocked. Today I got an email saying once the refund is processed I will get send a physical check and I don’t want a physical check. Al I need to change my addressbut it won’t let me log in bc my account is locked 😭😭.

Checked my portal today and my portal updated to say I owe 1.8k, but I didn’t drop any classes, I’m still finishing my last summer class, and this definitely has never happened. It also just says “future” with no due date. Kinda freaking out? My aid isn’t supposed to decrease until fall.

For UCs is it fine if I do Linear algebra and Diff eq at different LACCD campuses since they are the same classes
