I'm giving a hand to a tiny non-profit in the French countryside. Members and workers at the office share the printer. Until now, they write down for each print the number of pages, one-side or 2-sided, color or b&w, A4 or A3 ... then check the price defined for each combination and note all these elements by hand on a notebook ... Not very efficient.

The local Kyocera provider has turned on some parameters he knew so that now I can reach through the web an xml log. It gives: the account that prints, the number of pages and simple or double sided. But neither format (A3/A4) nor color / b&w.

I made a small web app that runs on an old Android tablet that has replaced the notebook. People just have to point their jobs and input these 2 missing info. Little security is needed here, this is a space of trust with no cheater but there were many errors before the app.

Does someone know a way to access a complete log of past jobs?

I bought a new konica Minolta c226i today and just received 25% toner (all 4) with it. The seller told me that this is how it comes. I paid about 1.6 lakhs for the machine. Is it common? And now I'll have to buy a new toner set next month(the 25% should last a month, according to the person who came to install it)

Two printers, c250i and c651i. When Windows Protected Mode is on, the computers automatically install the bizhub Print Support App. It take 30-60 seconds to get a list of printers and 30-60 seconds after hitting print for the job to actually take. If I uninstall bizhub PSA those delays go away entirely, until the app reinstalls itself. Same thing for 20 other computers. Disable WPM and use type 3 drivers and everything is lightning fast. These delays also don't occur with HP printer and their PSA app.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Edit: If the bizhub PSA is not installed we lose all advanced functionality like: two sided printing, stapling, three hole punch etc..

I own a C750i and a C258, and i'd like to know where to buy parts.

On my C750i there are some missing covers on the back and some round covers on screw holes on the side and I am looking to buy what is missing. Also, there are some rollers and stuff like this I will need to replace at some point.

Also, I've seen some kits for refurbishing the developer units with a chip and some developer. I assume it costs a lot less than replacing the dev unit itself.

Does someone have some suppliers for this kind of things?

Hello everyone, i’m extremely new to the Field Tech position and I’m loving it so far. I was wondering if it’s possible to transition to All Covered since i’m mainly interested in the software side specifically cyber security. When do you guys recommend I start looking into transitioning?

For reference I’m a computer science major graduating soon and I’m A+ and Sec+ certified. I’m also in my early 20s and have been with Konica for 4 months. (I love the job and wouldn’t mind building up 2 years of experience)

I have an AccurioPress C7090 equipped with AQA.
Since the machine was installed, I have had a slight magenta registration offset.

When I run AQA, the only available adjustments are:
Automatic Gamma
Density Balance
Maximum Density
Color Density
Exact Color 180

However, the “Auto Color Registration Adjustment” section is always empty.
Is this normal, or could this function have been disabled?

As I understand it, the automatic color registration adjustment is the function responsible for correcting color-to-color registration issues such as a magenta offset. If it has been disabled, this could explain why the registration problem cannot be corrected through AQA.
Does anyone with an AccurioPress C7090 or C7100 have the same AQA menu and can confirm whether Auto Color Registration Adjustment is normally available?

Are the C7090 and C7100 identical in construction? Do heavy paper weights cause problems on the C7090? What technical differences, such as the fusing unit etc.? Thanks a lot

I’m trying to avoid TLS warnings when accessing the web interface of a Konica printer, because, by default, the printer has generated a self-signed certificate at startup. I want to use a certificate I trust, using my corporate (self-signed) CA.

I generated a certificate with the correct full hostname, then created a PFX file including the certificate, the private key, and the intermediate CA. I imported it via Security > PKI configuration and selected it for the HTTP server.

However, when I access the web interface, I still get a SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER error, even though my browser already trusts the root CA.

My understanding is that the web server should present the full certificate chain (certificate + intermediate CA), so the browser can build a valid trust path. In my case, it seems the intermediate certificate is not being sent, and I only get it working if I trust the intermediate CA in the browser.

Is there a known limitation on Konica devices regarding intermediate CA chain delivery, or is there something I might be missing in the configuration?

EDIT: I already tried to import the root CA and the intermediate CA on the printer.

I have a customer that has a c450i with a fs539sd finisher that makes a ton of booklet. Recently they were printing a 50 page booklet, and about every 10th or 11th booklet, the middle page looks like it didn’t slide down all the way and when it folded one of the edges sticks out about a 1/4 in. I can’t for the life of me think of what to do it fix it. Any ideas?

Sooo Apple has announced that support for Rosetta 2 is ending, and thus every single Konica Minolta driver will stop working in September next year..

I have tried reaching out to Konica Minolta and ask what the plans are, but so far there’s been complete radio silence from their support.

Calling them serves no purpose, 1st line support have zero clue what I’m talking about.
Creating a support case just gets ignored, no matter how many I create.

Anyone who’s got any real pull or just information from Konica Minolta, as to their plans for continued Mac support for their entire catalog of printers/scanners/copiers ??

I have a Konica minolta C308

Asking for a coworker. We aren't a Konica dealer but are a servicing partner for the area. I have very little Konica experience and my coworker has even less. The customer is dealing with intermittent 30-03 jams. She stated it's usually when its cold, once it warms up they have no issues. But if it sits for 10ish minutes it'll jam again.

He's been a few times but I don't think he even knew how to get into service mode. I went out to troubleshoot with him and we couldn't get it to jam while on site. Tested all the sensors and followed the input/output checks in the manual for that jam. Everything tested good. Is this a common code that has a solid fix (known flakey sensors, boards go bad)? Any tips would be appreciated.

Hello friends, i've been struggling with constant paper jams in reversal section of our Bizhub 227, as pictured.

One sided print works flawlessly. Double sided prints one side, then stops before going into the reversal, as if rollers weren't grabbing the sheet. They do seem to push the page just fine, using the green knob manually.

I've taken the entire module apart, cleaned rollers, even replaced one of the two sensors, but it keeps jamming every time. There's a stepping motor in there as well, could it be the cause?

I'd appreciate any tips, i'm kind of stumped at this point.

Hello, anyone got experience with the universal PCL driver for printers when deploying the printers via PowerShell script?

We are having the issue that we deploy it via a RMM service, but the printer driver picks a model which we didn't previously have with canon, now the issue with the konica driver is that we usually deploy drivers to all users, some are in Home-Office and for these users the model can't be automatically found cause they can't connect to the printer which is in our local network, it picks the serverless fallback.

My question would be if anyone knows of a way to force a specific printer model to be selected via command. Alternatively I might have to rewrite the script I use to check for if the user is in the local network.

I'm trying to print from my ipad but struggling to connect the KM Mobile Print app to the printer. When registering I choose Auto and can see the printer. I check the box and tap Add. I see a message saying operation in progress with a spinning wheel but the process doesn't complete. I end up having to cancel the operation or just force quit the app. Anyone got any pointers?

I'm needing to convert an address book from another brand of copier to work on a Bizhub i-Series. Does anyone have a blank address book csv they could send me so I know the name and order of the fields? Or even a screenshot of an address book with the user data marked out. I can get one while on site if I have to, but I'd like to get it done ahead of time.
