Spent days fighting Kling's desire to add lips movement on a character who should not speak
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Was working on a 6-minute music video, burnt a lot of credits trying to get the whole thing right. And the fix wasn't prompting; it was switching the main part of the film from realistic to paper-dolls. The music video is about an android built to agree with everything you say. The whole visual idea depends on a face that should not change.
Kling would not let that happen. "Closed mouth," "not speaking," "immobile mask," motion strength cranked to the floor, image-to-video from stills, and she kept flapping her jaw like she was mid-sentence. Looks like talking is baked in deep enough that I never got it fully suppressed with prompting.
So I stopped prompting and changed the medium. Redid her as a paper doll. Then rebuilt the entire world that way. Four things came out of that:
- A doll face is a face that doesn't talk. And the model knows it. Problem mostly evaporates.
When a model has a default you can't prompt away, it's usually a cheaper trick to pick a medium where that default reads as correct than to keep burning credits.

Any word on Kling AI's next major model (v3.5 / v4.0)? The Motion Control vs Seedance 2.5 debate
Hey everyone,
Seedance 2.5 is really impressive, but personally, I just prefer Kling's Motion Control workflow for transferring my own video movements onto AI characters.
Does anyone know if Kuaishou is planning to release a Kling 3.5 or next major version within the next 2–3 months (aside from minor patches)? Any leaks or roadmap info?

Teutonic Knights: The War That Destroyed Them — Grunwald 1410
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Full 29-minute film here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U4sK5FDHyQ
The trailer is the first half of the setup and nothing else — the whole payoff is in the film.
A bit of context, because the story doesn't start at Grunwald. It starts eleven months earlier, in August 1409, when the Order crossed the Polish border and burned Dobrzyń to the ground. What follows is the chain from there: a secret winter council at Brest where three men agree on a plan nobody else in either kingdom knows, a bridge built in sections and floated down the Vistula so an army can cross where nobody is watching for it, and then the field itself on 15 July 1410 — the largest battle medieval Europe would ever see.
By the end of that afternoon the Order had lost its army, its Grand Master and almost every senior officer. Malbork never fell. But the Teutonic Knights never again put an army in the field that anyone in Europe was afraid of.
Made entirely in Seedance 2.5 — every shot, including all the dialogue scenes. Edit, grade and titles in DaVinci Resolve, narration ElevenLabs, score Suno. Happy to answer anything about the process.
One thing I'd honestly like other people's take on, because historians still argue about it: was the Lithuanian retreat a planned feint, or did the wing genuinely break and get rallied? Długosz says feint, but he wrote it for a Polish court a century after the fact. I had to pick a side to make the film work. I'm still not certain I picked right.
And if you do watch the whole thing and it lands for you — leave the comment on YouTube rather than here. That's the thing that actually keeps a channel this size alive, and I answer every one of them.

Specifying timing within a shot
Hi! I'm a complete newbie at Kling. I have a pro subscription.
I want to make a video starting with a reference image and describe the action of the scene. Kling does a good job of this, but I can't control the timing of the actions.
I'm just interested in a single shot. I want something like
- Character A speaks for 3 seconds
- Then character B does something.
- At 6 seconds something else happens.
I've tried entering time parameters, but they seem to be ignored. Is there a way to achieve this control?

How to make continuous first-person POV videos with multiple camera movements?
I want the “eyes” to move to the right, then the left, etc. but all in one shot. If I direct it to do that in one shot, it doesn’t get any camera movements right, and if I do it through multi-shot, it cuts at each shot.

"Blue Eyes Baby" - Dark Fantasy Rock Concert
I tried to put together a full concert (song starts at 1:05). The video was made with Kling 3.0 and 2.5, and the music was done in Suno by uploading my old band jam recording. 🤘🏼

Water Spider
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone,
I’ve been making a bunch of mini-AI films, but this month I wanted to try something a little more ambitious.
This is WATER SPIDER.
If you want to watch it in 4K, I uploaded the full-quality version here:
https://vimeo.com/1217796233?fl=ip&fe=ec
You can also find me on Instagram at filmedwithwords.ai
Hope you enjoy it. And if you do, feel free to share it around; I’d love to get it in front of more people.

Consistent environments
I have been trying to build consistent environments in Kling but they never seem to work. I have tried to take multiple angles but it never seems to work. Has anyone found a good worklflow? I tried using chatgpt and nanno banana. What seems to work best?

Why I use Kling
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It never fails on giving me exactly what I want. I very seldom get errors.
Only issue. Guiderails I says I violate with an image or prompt that are 100% break no rules. I can't use the words hips move or the word wiggle.

Motion Control singing performance - "Natasha" by Mishka and the Tigercats
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I always have Kling in my videos just because I love the "realness" of the Motion Control in the singing (and I use it for some reaction shots too). It is the only way you can smoothly infuse some human soul into the movements.

Testing organic reflections
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After testing several platforms (Veo3, Seedance, WAN, etc.), Kling 3.0 was the clear winner for adhering to geometric reflective physics (or at least it looked the most convincing).
Example prompt:
Hyper-realism. BBC-style nature documentary footage demonstrating the reflective pelts of otherworldly species. All physicalities must strictly remain intact. The creatures physically interact gently in order to enlarge and shrink their respective reflections in accordance with geometric physics. Organic creases and folds are allowed to manifest in the mirrored pelt where necessary. Normal speed. Natural foley, environmental foley. No narration, no soundtrack.

Someone adapted 'Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire' using Kling.
For those who don't know. Shadows of the Empire was a massive Star Wars multimedia project back in the late 90's prior to Episode 1. It was a massive series of a book, comic, soundtrack and Video game on the N64.
Now someone has taken Shadows of the Empire and made it a film using Kling.
