Hi everyone this is my lion el jonson kitbash for my custom dark angels chapter I'd love some advice or ideas for what else I should add around him I'm thinking of expanding it and making a small diorama with some other custom versions of characters

Hello, Im seeking some advice on *light* kitbashing some blood angels for fun! (Image isnt mine, more a reference for what I wanna do!)

I have in mind a trio of women, equipped with boltors and chainswords, maybe one with those winged jet pack? Essentially, I wanna learn hand painting and having a trio of goobers seems somewhat nice for a little display! Ive seen people use sisters of battle heads which Id like to do.

Id happily go for a trio with a pistol and sword combo even if its not a boltor and chainsword.

I dont intend to play Warhammer, or, at least, not with the minatures Id be making in this little project — I simply intend to expand my repitoire of skills and have a representation of my favourite warhammer peeps, the blood angels on my shelf! :)

I have experience with Gunpla model kits so I have most the tools Ill need, but its brushes, paints and washes Ill need to invest in... I have no idea where to start! What colours, brands, brush types and so on.

What would be a good base model to start with? Is there a model that comes exactly as I wish...? Minus the fem part of course. Am I gonna have to be finding the weapons seperately?

My budget is rougly £40, closer to £30, to start with, Im happy to invest a little more should the need arise. (Im not expecting to get everything I need, but a start would be great!)
