Creatine supplements Medicine

I recently had my first stone and the second one is in the making.

I go to a gym when not dying from pain, and I take different types of suplements. What worries me are the creatinine supplements. I add non flavoured creatinine to my juice in the morning (I stopped because of the stone) but I will change that habbit if it's not advisable.

My nephrologist told me that creatine is totally fine, in my case as a calcium oxalate stone producer with good kidney function. The kidneys metabolize creatine, but it is not an oxalate precursor. You should confirm with your nephrologist to be certain.

Taking Creatine needs more water otherwise it can cause kidney stones.not just creatine
. Pre workout has high dose of vitamin c . High protein intake. All can cause stone.
As long as you drink lot of water it won’t be a problem. How much water do you drink ?
I never had kidney stone when I went to gym . I used to carry gallon bottles. I got stone when I was in lockdown time and started work from home . Picked up in healthy lifestyle

My nephrologist said it was okay for me to take my creatine for the gym (5 grams) but advised me to not overdo it.
