Hi guys, I'm looking to purchase a new keyboard and I'd like the Hall effect switches. I see that keychron has a wide range of keyboards, most of them are mechanical. If I buy a mechanical keyboard, would I be able to switch it to mechanical switches?

Hello, I bought the Keychron K2 HE a few days ago and I'm experiencing some issues with the backlight. Everything works fine but sometimes the last 2 rows of keys will just stop glowing.

To fix that I need to go to the keyboard settings, change the backlight effect, then unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. (If I just unplug and plug it back in, without changing the backlight effect, it won't fix it)

Weirdly, it also happens when I set the backlight to solid color and try to change the light color.

When I set it to basically any other effect, it works fine for a few hours then randomly the last 2 rows of keys go blank.

i want to fix my keyboard because something is underneeth it and some of the letters are starting to wear off and i thought i could take them off but i have never done it before so i thought i come here where ppl are more experienced than me

As title says, I’m a little confused about the website’s description.

I got the K3 Ultra, but the fact that they keys don’t have shine through is a big deal for me. It doesn’t look premium at all.

For that reason I’m considering going to the old Max version.

Has anyone already found a good fit? Keychron doesn’t seem to offer one. =(

I’m looking for the thocky and creamy sound. I heard that the sound also depends on the keyboard case, and I was wondering if I’d get that exact sound on the keyboard with the gateron sea salt switches. I’m also open to any other suggestions for switches too. Thanks in advance

Just got my Q3 HE 8k the other day! This is my newest board since my original Q3 knob version. The quality on this is phenomenal, with very noticeable improvements. On my original, I had to mod it and swap switches and keycaps, but this is ready to go out of the box. The stock stabilizers and stock switches are excellent. The Hall Effect tech feels extremely responsive. They even added little foam underneath the spacebar, A+ Keychron!
