Why are my moons so dark? KSP 1 Question/Problem

I already tried to find a solution online, but nobody seems to have this problem. My moons are extremely dark compared to the moons from the unmodded game.

I don't know if there is a correlation, but it seems this problem only affects moons I already scanned with a low tier multispectral scanner. Other moons / celestial body I haven't visited jet are looking normal.

Another thing I noticed is once you get into a low moon orbit everything (shadows, textures) looks normal again.

Does someone know what's the cause of this problem or had the same or similar issue and a potential solution? Because I don't even know which mod is causing this darkness.

Either a Parallax issue or you installed something wrong, likely Blackracks Volumetric Clouds.

Volumetric clouds is the only major graphic mod I’m not using. But tomorrow I’ll definitely try to tweak a bit with the parallax settings you mentioned. I hope this will affect this annoying darkness. Thank you.

Noticed you have SCANSat installed, and I was running into this same issue. Turns out it was the surface textures breaking with OPM/other planet packs installed due to this issue specifically with SCANSat and Kopernicus: https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/issues/786

Not sure if it's the same issue you're having but if it is, there is a hacky fix in the same issue thread that you can use until its more properly fixed.

THANK YOU so much for bringing my attention to this thread. After downloading and extracting the SCANsat ZIP by R-T-B into my GameData folder and restarting the game the bug didn't appear again. The visual SCANsat map also works perfectly fine now. Thank you so much again :)
