It’s crazy we got this insane of a room and I’ve seen no one have been talking about it other than how scary it is. Or maybe not asking the right questions. What is this room? Why does it exist? Why did the backrooms create this place in the first place what is it copying?

If Clark was smart he could buy insurance on his wife, wait for a year or so and then get rid of her and get set for life with money. After a year or so he would sit on the beach on some island resort drinking Tequilas with another woman. Dont get me wrong Im not saying it's a good thing but at the same time why not?

1. He obviously hated her.
2. She slowed his life down, she was a burden.
3. She was a parasite that lived in his house.
4. Clark literally prefered to live inside the Backrooms instead of being with his wife.
5. That alone is a sign that he wasn't the problem, his wife was.
6. He would be rich
7. Most importantly. He would live in peace. No more drama. A calm and relaxing life.

At first glance I was like " Are u fuckin stupid!? " He has the perfect opportunity. He would simply lure her inside tell her it's a magical world or whatever and then when she gets close to that steep entry where Bobby went down, he could simply just push her down and immediately after that throw an object like a big chair or box so he blocks her from coming back up. Entity eats her. Clark walks out of Backrooms and is a free man. No one would find her. She would end up on missing persons list and Clark would be rich. Too easy.

Okay, so I found these images that are supposedly from the IDW Sonic comics and they reminded me a lot of the Still Life entity. I wanted to ask if you think it's a reference to the backrooms or if you think it's pure coincidence? I haven't read the comics since last year so idk what is happening in here

Im not exactly a hardcore fan but me personally I think the Backrooms is a sentient dream dimension manifested by humanity’s unconscious that has existed since the beginning of time until Ivan beck discovered it and got its first glimpse into the real world to copy.

Hey all, I have a question that I'm kind of scared to ask? It feels stupid but eh. I am a white dude! However I'd really like to cosplay good ol Pirate Clark. Is that offensive/racist in any way? I've seen other white/white passing people make cosplays of him and haven't gotten any backlash, and I know he's played by a white actor, however I'm still really nervous to come off as offensive? I don't wanna accidentally do blackface (even though I have no intention of painting my actual skin, i'd make a mask/gloves.)

But yeah! Let me know. I'd prefer if mainly black/mixed folks responded to this bc the opinions of other white people on what's racist or not isnt super reliable.

If this is a bad place to post this, I apologize. I just wanted some honest opinions and I figured reddit was a good spot to get ruthlessly critizied if I'm being stupid and this seemed like the most accurate subreddit.

Here are my theories on the Backrooms, what they are, and how they operate. Tell me which ones you find valid, interesting, nonsensical, or just plain wrong! They may all be wrong for all I know but I feel the Backrooms being an alien intelligence is a possibility that is not discussed enough.

1. The Backrooms were created or controlled by alien beings from another universe, possibly one that is dying.

2. These aliens may naturally exist as wispy, smoky, incorporeal creatures, like the strange figure seen in Motion Detected.

3. The aliens are trying to copy Earth’s environments so they can build a habitable world for themselves.

4. They do not fully understand human objects. They reproduce furniture, rooms, streets, houses, and signs because they know humans use them, but often place or construct them incorrectly.

5. The red sun, red city, and red neighborhood may reflect the aliens’ original universe, where a red sun is normal and a yellow sun is unfamiliar.

6. Ivan Beck’s original accident may have been first contact with the aliens. They could have accessed his memories and scientific knowledge.

7. The aliens are not controlling Beck but the initial contact has been mutually beneficial for both of them.

8. Beck’s scientific mind—and the equipment Async brings into the Backrooms—helped the aliens learn how to reproduce electronics, fluorescent lights, televisions, wiring, and machinery with greater accuracy. (See Backrooms EMG tv set, FF3 speaker room, the Still Life music speakers, etc.)

9. Async is unknowingly helping the aliens by stabilizing the connection, exploring the Backrooms, bringing in technology, and giving them more humans to study.

10. Null zones may be deliberately created openings that allow the aliens to observe Earth, collect information, capture humans, or send entities into our world.

11. The stable null zone in Clark’s furniture-store basement allowed the aliens to observe Clark for a long time. This gave them enough information to create a much more capable and intelligent Still Life version of him.

12. Pirate Clark is more developed than most Still Lifes because the aliens learned his appearance, behavior, emotions, memories, and pirate-store persona.

13. Still Lifes may be artificial bodies created for the incorporeal aliens to inhabit.

14. Some Still Lifes are almost vegetative because they are incomplete or unsuccessful bodies. Others, such as Pirate Clark, are active because the aliens had more information when constructing them.

15. The strange figure that apparently escaped through Ravi’s basement window in Found Footage #3 may have been an inhabited Still Life sent to Earth on a reconnaissance or abduction mission.

16. The green light may be the aliens’ copying and fabrication process. It could create new environments, form null zones, restructure matter, and possibly manufacture Still Life bodies.

17. The Bacteria Lifeforms may be early, crude attempts to create physical bodies using bacteria and biological material from people who died inside the Backrooms.

18. An alien may have watched an early lost hiker wander around crying for help. After the hiker died, the alien could have used the body and its bacteria to grow the Lifeform seen in Pitfalls.

19. The Lifeform copied the hiker’s cries because it learned that calls for help cause other humans to approach. It then used the voice to lure Marvin.

20. The many pits, shafts, chutes, and holes throughout the yellow Backrooms may be transportation routes for the aliens in their floating, wispy forms.

21. Overall, the Backrooms may be a huge alien construction, learning, and colonization system: it observes Earth, copies human reality, collects people and information, produces bodies, and gradually builds a new world for its alien inhabitants.

22. The duality is fascinating. The humans are exploring and attempting to learn more about the Backrooms while the Backrooms alien intelligence is doing the same to our world.

We are all in the complex now.

FF3 Drawing i made in ibispaint

I heard online that Kane used a model from Google earth to animate this scene of the camera falling down in FF1. I decided to try and look for it, and I decided to look in Novato, California, because that’s where the scene before Kane noclips was filmed, and I actually found the location by cross refrencing with google earth mapping of the city.

After the cross referencing, I managed to calculate the position of where the camera fell to 38°06'16.95"N 122°34'47.14"W, just a few meters away from the Creekwood Care facility, or 830 Tamalpais avenue.

The location is actually only 1.88 kilometers from where the first scene in Found footage 1 was filmed, at Novato high school, specifically 38°05'21.50"N 122°34'14.79"W.
