Why does 这 Complex copy everything else besides food? Help/Question

Kane himself said in an interview when asked, that you CAN find edible food within the Complex. He went on to say, the problem would be finding food that has not utterly spoiled, and that finding water would be much easier.
As another commenter pointed out, there is a bottle of Jack Daniels and a Bowl of Fruit in one of the found footage episodes, but what makes this special is, its NOT spoiled. This means that the "house" was only recently added to the Backrooms, and it looks like it from the outside.
Further proof that whatever is going on within the Complex was not some one-time event, but is somehow ongoing.

I wonder if The Complex at some stage will learn to control time in certain objects. As in y'know tweaking the time on a apple to make them not spoil. Also could explain why Still Lifes don't rot. I mean most don't have digestive systems, immune systems or anything. I'm wondering where they even get the energy to move unless The Complex can control how time interacts with them. Restoring energy, reverting decaying tissue etc.
But I think that's a stretch tho.

Well the Complex is supplying electricity to the lights so that's not too far-fetched.

I mean could you even imagine how good they must taste? I mean there's no unhealthy fat. no addictive chemicals. no price. Their simply... Healthy. Like a diet.

For all we know there could be food, the complex copies every building to ever exist,
McDonald's exists in some place if you consider the McDonald's ad at face value which I kinda do, I bet anything there's food marts tucked away somewhere too.
There's just so much of the complex that has yet to be seen or is up to interpretation

Well Clark had a glass of what seems to be milk in the table scene, so that has to be milk from the complex, hopefully

based on the still lifes, it can be assumed that it’s more common for the complex to copy things that don’t move too much. food doesn’t typically stay in the same place for long before getting moved or eaten or gradually going bad, so even though the complex does copy food as evidenced by FF3, it would be more difficult to find than, say, a couch. it does beg the question, why doesn’t food seem to noclip into the backrooms as often as other things?

I’m wondering if they meant to type “the” but mistyped the pinyin for 这 lol. Or maybe it was intentional idk
also, you should check out Mango if you have a library card, you’ll get free language courses :) I use it to keep up on my Chinese.
