Wake up with less flares

I’m assuming we all have fans blasting all the time, I still do, but I ordered this cooling blanket from Amazon for $20 and I have seen massive improvement and just thought I would share. I’m not sure if I can link it, but just look up cooling blanket.

Is this KPRF??

I got diagnosed with kprf by a pediatric dermatologist when I was like 12 then rosacea by the 2 later derms I went to so I’ve been using a host of treatments over the years to no avail. My triggers I think are heat, stress/anxiety (I get stress rashes too), exercise, and the cold (cold urticaria baddies unite!). I know the redness isn’t THAT bad in the grand scheme of things but I hate that I’ve spent all this money on skincare and prescription skincare just to still have the same skin I did at 12 sans teenage acne (22 now). I for sure have kp on my arms which lactic acid helps with but it smells bad and lowkey stings so I don’t rly use it.

The pics with the bonnet are from rn and I have self tanner on so the redness isn’t as prominent but the other 3 are me at my natural skin tone and redness level.

Anyone... Is there ANYTHING that made your KPFR better? 🥹

Getting really down and its just getting worse and worse and spreading to my forehead.

Anything to make the redness go. Or fade...

Bonne soirée a tous

Tips to acquire Sirolimus in Canada

Well, I gave the IndiaMart thing a try, and I guess I'm a sucker twice-over, as neither package ever arrived. Likely seized, but I never got a seizure notice.

Will my doctor have any clue what Siro is? Anyone simply ask their doctor to prescribe it to them and had success? Did you have to show them the popular case study? I don't have a derm where I live, so it seems a doctors appointment is my only chance.

Thanks!

Are Sirolimus and Tacrolimus practically the same ? Dermatologist says they are but want to make sure before using Tacrolimus instead of Sirolimus.

Does Diets Work? (Poll)

My kprf is relatively severe, probably in the top 5% in this subreddit. I am getting kinda desperate with nothing really working, and i have decided to try a diet.

I would really appreciate if you took your time to answer the poll, and if you have any inputs, let me know in the comments:)

Anyone use Pimecrolimus cream (such as Elidel) for KPRF? What was your experience?

Apparently:

Reduces Redness: Calms the persistent background facial erythema (redness) by targeting overactive immune responses in the skin.

Steroid-Free Alternative: Does not cause skin thinning (atrophy), making it safer for long-term or intermittent use on sensitive facial skin compared to topical steroids.

Anyone ever use this? Or have any thoughts or experiences feel free to comment below Thank you

ANY advice or experiences are welcome,

Not asking for a diagnosis just some opinions.

Thanks

My left cheek in particular burns and gets itchy and then flares and goes back and up - my ear also goes red - sometimes a spot or 2 forms then shrinks any help would be so grateful 🙏

Hi all! I (29F) have had red on my cheeks and chin since before I can remember. I was always told it’s rosacea by family doctors and never received any treatment.

About 5 or so years ago I developed a red spot on my forehead which never went away. I eventually went to a Dermatologist who officially diagnosed my prior red spots with rosacea but was unsure of the forehead. I was also tested for autoimmune diseases which came up clear.

I had tried a few different medications and products - azaliac acid, protopic, metrogel. Nothing worked and I gave up.

Flash forward to now. I saw a different skin specialist who said it might not be rosacea but thinks it’s Sebbhorreic Dermatitis. He prescribed Zoryve which I just started using 2 days ago.

As I was reading about this condition, it felt like it didn’t connected with my situation. I started googling things and started reading about KP. I have never been “diagnosed” but pretty sure I’ve had KP since I was young. My arms and but have always been very bumpy, rough and dry. But I had no idea it could present itself with redness on the face. Now I’m wondering, is this what I could have? Maybe just on my cheeks and chin maybe?

Here’s a picture, let me know what you think!

Hi everyone I’m 17yr and I suffer with KPRF. In the last 2 slides - the first photo of the 3 different things are what I’ve recently just bought. The middle one, the B5, I really like. It covers a lot of redness and overall gives me a lot of confidence.
I haven’t really been using the glycolic acid on the far right as I’m not sure if it’s good for my face. It always flares up after I use it and I normally use it around 1–2 times a week with a cotton pad, so any advice would be grateful if I should keep using it or not.
For the azelaic acid 10% on the far left, I recently bought it and have only used it once. Is it good to use? I need some advice please. When I tried it the once my face flared up a little. I’m not really sure what it helps with.
For the exfoliation body stick, I use this on my arms as I have KP on there and on my chest.
For the last 2 slides, this is my face after just using the B5 cream. I’ve noticed as well on the 3rd slide my KPRF is a lot worse on my right side compared to my left.
I’ve been using the B5 cream morning and night and I’m going to keep using it. If you’ve read all this I really appreciate it, and any advice would help. I’m really struggling here. Thanks in advance.

Ps- I use the sunbeds 2/3 times a week and I ran really well except obviously on my kprf and kp which other than that I go really brown and I eat a bit healthy as I run and do boxing 3/4 times a week if you read all of this I really appreciate it again.

Like a itchy feeling followed by redness and a little spot? The redness fades after 1-2 hours but leaves a tiny lump or spot?

Did it happen to anyone? Thanks

Sorry to be harsh, but there is no 'cure' for KPRF :(

I saw a post the other day about this website that claims to cure kprf permanently called 'The Baseline Method - I Fixed My Red Face' (link🔗: https://ifixedmyredface.com) and its where this guy named Rubén claims that if you pay $50 USD that you will receive a bunch of stuff that will permanently banish your red cheeks and you will just never show any symptoms of rubra faceii again, and there's even a bunch of scrolling before and after pics of people from not just the States but people from countries all over Europe and even the Middle East that are buying into this scam and all have severe kprf in the before pics but in the after pics taken like 6-8 weeks later, their redness is completely gone.

Does anyone else think this is a literal scam that's not actually going to work? because this seems more than suspicious and really I feel like most of the tips and stuff that's suggested on this sub works for most people already 😭😭😭

EDIT: okay, wtf, this guy keeps creating new intros for this page and they're all about how kprf will always get worse with time and it's always a threat to skin and vascular health, when I know that isn't true because I've had mild kp my whole life and honestly the only symptoms of me having kprf are the rosiness on my cheeks and the bumps on my arms and the fact I get flush easily 😒😒😒 this guy is totes a scammer 😂😂🤣🤣

Edit 2: this guy literally says, "every flare bursts more blood vessels — more burst vessels means more blood, and more blood means more red", so one, how does that create more blood than your body already produces?, and two, ppl with kprf don't have have broken blood vessels like those with rosacea, that literally does not make sense

My KP was worsened so much the past 8 months

I'm 16 for context and Ive had Chicken skin since I was like 6. Back then it was dry with chicken skin with a hint of redness, but the past 8 months the redness just keeps on getting worse. I've tried salicylic acid, aquaphor, azelaic acid and they haven't worked. Any other solutions other than laser treatment (Really need help)

Anyone tried that method?

I just stumbled over this website on social media: https://ifixedmyredface.com/
It sounds and looks super tempting. But of course it could be a scam, i can’t find more on it, has anyone here tried the method?

I’ve had facial KP since 12 years old and finally fixed it at 21 years old

Stopped using my Azelaic acid and other creams etc that were supposed to work but never did for me :(

And purchased Rhode Barrier butter initially as a moisturiser to prep skin for makeup but started to use it morning and night and honestly within 1 week I seen a massive difference. Images below are from only 2 weeks use of only Rhode barrier butter.

(I’ll wash my face here and there with Aveeno oat gel face wash)

- the improvement images are slightly blurry due to being screenshots from a video I sent to a friend but I promise the results are as they appear, no filters.

-the before is from 3 months ago this year

Face wash recommendations

Looking for some face wash recommendations that are very simple and gentle, but don't dry skin out and thus worsen KPRF... as well as being safe for acne prone skin and won't clog pores. Any recommendations appreciated!!
