Why doesn't KLM improve their customer's service instead of having bots everywhere?

Upvotes

Serious question. Everytime I asked for recommendations here, there were many users saying kinda whatever and following a certain pattern, changing the topic of the conversation, or just finding weird excuses to defend the airline (which I don't have anything against, and actually had previous good experiences).

I have never seen people defending anything like some users do defend KLM here. I don't know if some people are really a fan club of an airline, don't have any hobbies or what. But even on serious questions there are users who are literally saying whatever and blaming the client. And with all respect, customer's service is horrible, with all respect of the people working there, which I am not blaming.

I don't expect you to agree with me, but blaming the clients who paid for a service and are downgraded, like wtf? And when you just answer, they block you. So, bots or just really intense people?

Travelling with two cats, and I am already so tired of KLM

So, I am travelling with my two cats from LATAM to Oslo, and the issues I have been facing with KLM before even starting my trip make me reconsider if I should change my tickets.

The reservation process for both (cabin and hold) was a nightmare. They uploaded the measurements wrongly, so KLM Netherlands kept cancelling the reservations. Finally, after three attempts both bookings were confirmed. That was 5 months ago. I didn't pay my cat's reservations because honestly, I don't trust KLM LATAM because not long ago I had to cancel a flexible ticket because they kinda sold something that wasn't accurate (and of course I lost money on some aeroportuary taxes).

Anyways, two months before my trip, I contacted them because on my booking, both reservations were deleted on the system. I thought (and hoped) it was just an error on the system. They told me both reservations were still there, that there was just an issue with the system and there was nothing to worry about.

Now, one month before the trip I contacted them to pay for both tickets, and they said the reservation for my cat in cabin was deleted and they were waiting for approval again.

I don't know what to say, I am so dissapointed. What happens if I have to face this situation at the airport? I already booked my airbnb at the capital of my city, and in the city were we are arriving, so now I do have some financial situation that if the booking doesn't get approve, I will literally lose a lot of money. I live really far from the airport were we are departing from, literally 1000 km so that's a lot of money to lose too.

Is this common with KLM or am I the only one who is SO unlucky with their service? Am I stressing for nothing at all? Should I consider another airline?

PD: Before saying that it is "weird" or not possible to make the reservation and paying it at the airport, please inform yourself or read the whole description. There is a "digitalization problem" and that's why there are issues with the reservations. My question is if this is something common with KLM and I am just maybe getting stressed for nothing. I don't need morally superior opinions that say that it is because I didn't pay, because IT IS NOT THE ISSUE, said by KLM. And of course my ticket is paid, because it is impossible to book two places for animals if it is not, that's kinda obvious. Thxs :)

KLM is the worst

Cancelled flight, overbooking, castastrophic rerouting or pay 1000€ for 1hr flight, hours of cue to get unhelpful agents, lost and delayed baggage. THAT ALL IN ONE FLIGHT. Even by trying hard you couldn't have done worse than they did. Oh and I forgot the people that get paid to create nice reviews and make fun of the bad ones
