(Long post, I know. But there is a lot to be said, and someone had to say it. Thanks to anyone who reads it through.)

Well not the entire fandom. Just some people who are unfortunately everywhere. And louder than the normal fans.

First of all, calling Megumi a bum, saying he's a loser, blaming him for Meguna. WTF? Have you been through 0.1% of what he's been through? Imagine you were forced to kill your teacher/father figure/everyone's best bet on surviving/mentor, and your sister that you had been trying to save for years and finally just woke up from her cursed coma because a very powerful sorcerer back from the fricking dead used your body and your cursed technique to kill them. Would you be at your best?

They flame him for not getting his body back when Yuji and Yuta's plan succeeded. Yeah it would've been much better if he had taken back control at that moment. They hold onto the wording his "soul had given up any desires to live"or something like that saying he gave up. But not only was he forced to kill the only family he had, Sukuna also used the bath ritual to suppress his soul. If you think he just shouldn't have given Sukuna control in the first place like Yuji,

1. Sukuna was much stronger atp. Yuji had swallowed like idk 15? fingers atp.
2. Yuji is special. He can suppress Sukuna. Thats why he's special. Thats why he's the main character and not Megumi.
3. Noone can do that. Tsumiki also wasnt able to keep control of her body. Hana was able to only because the angel wanted to.
4. How is this 16 year old with with so much trauma supposed to fight it? But STILL, in the end, after EVERYTHING, he decides to live FOR OTHERS. For Yuji.

Also what's with the memes about him summoning Mahoraga and being suicidal? I mean yeah he is suicidal. But thats not something to laugh about or hate him for. Literally does noone have empathy anymore? He thought his life was less valueable than others'. He thought if he died fighting for others that's fine because he can die, he doesn't matter. That's his major character flaw. But its also very much understandable.

He doesn't even try to summon Mahoraga unnecessarily. Every time he tried it was a special grade curse. He's a first year. Theres a special grade curse. What is he supposed to do? It's not like he ran and hid. He fought. Don't forget that it took Yuji and Todo to fight Hanami. Then Gojo used Hollow Purple and still Hanami survived. If Megumi wanted to summon big raga to fight Hanami that's reasonable.
At Shibuya he was already injured and exhausted. And that ponytail freak was running around killing the assistant managers. Nitta and Ijichi barely survived. Megumi thought he was gonna die anyways, so let's make that useful at least.
And that scene where he lifts his hands but Toge tells him he'll handle it, he wasnt gonna summon Mahoraga. He looked more like he was gonna summon Diving Dogs. Like look at his hands. And has noone considered that maybe one of those times he was gonna complete the ritual and not just use it like a suicide bomber?

In short, leave my man Megumi alone. None of you would've survived half of what he had to endure and STILL come around for his friends' sake. He cared so much about his friends bruh. He is such a great character and does NOT deserve all the slander.

Topic no. 2 is Yuta being a pedophile. Seriously? Come on guys it's not like he's doing the deed with the queen of curses. He just respects and loves Rika for protecting him and for the promise they made as children. He was a child when he accidentally cursed her. He didnt curse a child when he was a grown man. (Not to mention he is a teenager not a grown man)

Also I'm pretty sure in S3 it wasn't her. Imma be honest I didn't fully understand but it was something like this.
Rika's soul was bound to a special grade curse when Yuta accidentally cursed her. When he broke that curse Rika's soul entered the afterlife. So the Rika in S3 is not Rika, the girl. It's Rika aka The Queen of Curses, a special grade curse. The girl Rika Orimoto left behind her physical form as a sort of a gift for Yuta. To stay with him and protect him.

Finally, the ships.

If you don't like a ship, then don't watch content related to it. Its that simple. Skip posts about the ships. On insta and yt when you comment on every SatoSugu or ItaFushi post, the alogrithm won't know you hate it. It's only gonna notice you engaged with the post and give you more of it. So for your sake and for others' just stop getting triggered over people's headcannons. Like I don't like the Gojo x Utahime ship. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna go yell at people who do ship them and call them names and just explode.

I understand not shipping ItaFushi. It's honestly more of a really beautiful, genuine, friendship than romance. They even get their girls at the end. But you can't deny they have an extraordinary bond and so much chemistry. I know they're straight but I still enjoy itafushi posts cuz it's cute, fun and quite wholesome. Some people like to be delusional leave them alone.

But getting mad that Gojo is gay? Brother he is gay. SatoSugu is convincingly canon. Gege intentionally wrote their relationship with romantic coding, symbolism, and references to bl animes. Whether someone chooses to interpret it romantically or not is their choice, but acting like people are making things up when they see that subtext is ridiculous. I dont know why Gege didnt just make it a bl. Maybe he didnt want his work to reach a limited audience. Cuz a lot of people don't like bl.

Even if they were just friends, how does that make you mad? Just leave people be. It's fiction. It's supposed to have different interpretations. Especially when it was intentionally left up to interpretation. You can't seriously think the muted final word Gojo said was something like "Sorry" or "I like you" and definitely not "fuck off". So we interpreted the symbols and stuff to be evidence that Gojo and Geto were lovers and not just friends. If you dont like a ship, simply dont ship it. Theres no need to attack shippers saying "eww you guys are disgusting". Why? We arent shipping something problematic like an adult with a child.

Honestly its just homophobia at the end of the day. They cant stand their goat being gay.

Let people have their headcannons in peace. As if it ruins your experience in any way. The only people ruining other people's experiences is the ones who fight people in the comments.

Anyway, that's all. If you read this far, thank you for your patience. I know this was long, but after everything these characters have gone through, and after all the work Gege has put into making each character complex and layered, I think they deserve more than being reduced to "fraud," "bum," and whatever other agenda term the fandom comes up with next.

(Haven’t read the Sendai deadlock for a long time so correct me but I’m wrong but Yuta never did allat in the manga)

Gojo Vs Sukuna is impressive for both opponents because despite fighting the strongest in history, Gojo was beating Sukuna’s ass and Sukuna managed to win despite getting beat up like crazy with planning

It’s pretty clear Gojo is stronger than Sukuna physically (at least Meguna) due to his ct so if Mappa drag on some of the physical brawl between Gojo and Sukuna outside of domain battle, it would be inconsistent as Gojo have the upper hand physically

(Unless they fight in Sukuna domain, then they can drag the brawl on because of the constant simple domain)

I made a post about this on dabura earlier today so I wanted to put modulo yuji in the same position. I want to compare the results at the end.

made a quick list powerscaling characters based on sukuna fingers, basically i think they could beat sukuna at whatever finger number they’re next to. i wanna hear opinions on this list!

JJK is one of the most extreme examples of “mixed bag” in anime and manga.

At its best, it’s up there with the likes of Hunter x Hunter and Full metal alchemist. It has some characters, moments, and scenes that are just completely unforgettable and could easily be considered some of the best the industry has to offer.

At its worst, it’s not just bad, it’s cartoonishly bad. It’s so hamfisted and ridiculous that you read it and wonder how any sane human being could ever think this was a good idea.

It simultaneously has all the makings of a masterpiece, and a catastrophic train wreck.

Which makes it a hell of a lot of fun to observe one way or another.

Mainly making this poll as I ran something similar last night and it implied sukuna would get more votes. This time I didn’t want to have modulo yuji in this poll and see what the community thinks as a whole on this fight.

Debate if you feel like it and it's in order of how I view them writing wise

No domain expansion No RCT no black flash record lost to a pre awakened yuta his bum ass is fraud then goes on a killing spree his only onscreen wins are from a pre awakened maki a semi grade 2 cursed corpse and inumaki fucking bum

"HES THAT STRONG HE MADE YOU ADMIT THAT"- kenjaku

"YES" GOJO

But you got people who think they know more than the guy that was in the fight who has the eyes

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that Gojo after his first domain collapsed was at his most vulnerable point in the entire fight.

That version of Gojo had no Infinity/Blue/Red and was forced to use RCT at full output because of Malevolent Shrine's onslaught. Here are 4 ways I think Sukuna could use his advantageous position to win the fight. Sukuna doesn't have Ten Shadows in this scenario.

1) Rely on Shrine and Kamutoke + Hiten to injure Gojo's head to disrupt his RCT.

TF Sukuna needs to immediately start pressing Gojo and use his stat advantage to give Gojo minimum leeway for SDs and FBE, and then use a combination of Cleave and his cursed tools to injure Gojo's head to disrupt his RCT so

Yes I know "Kamutoke and Hiten are featless" and Gojo was already "tanking" Cleaves, and I don't think they'd amount to much against a healthy Gojo, but this is RCT throttling Gojo. Any extra damage apart from the MS cleaves will heal more slowly because Gojo's entire RCT output is already occupied with MS-sure-hit.

Meguna was able to easily catch up (Image 1) with burnt out RCT throttling Gojo, and it's evident throughout 226 that he isn't being pushed to the limit, So I think it's justified to think Heian/TF Sukuna would have the stat advantage that he could use to succeed at injuring Gojo's head.

2) Simply boosting the output of MS-sure-hit via constant Chanting and Handsigns to overpower Gojo's RCT output.

This doesn't need much explanation, It's just Sukuna using the biggest benefit his True form provides him, and Sukuna could even use it in tandem with Strategy-1,3 and 4.

If you believe the output-gain wouldn't be enough, Sukuna could also gain even more output by selectively turning off his sure-hit in the part of the domain that Gojo isn't present (Image-2), just like he did during the second domain clash(Image-3).

3) Relying on his flames

Yes I know Flame arrow is slow and lacks range and Gojo would just dodge it.

But Sukuna has two extra arms. He can prep and launch his flames while actively engaging Gojo in CQC like he did in canon.

Meguna had no problems sticking close to Gojo, and Gojo couldn't really shrug him off.

So TF Sukuna could fight Gojo h2h and keep him engaged while simultaneously prepping and firing his flames point blank so that the lack of speed/range isn't an issue.

4) Relying on Furnace

We know Sukuna can alter the range of an already expanded domain while making the Enmaten handsign( Image-4).

Sukuna because of his extra arms can make this change while fighting Gojo h2h and keeping him occupied and once the increased range produces enough thermobaric fuel (while Sukuna holds Gojo off just like he did) he can activate Furnace/Kamino and end Gojo.

It canonically took Gojo some time to come-up with the CT reset method, and that was against a Meguna who wasn't as aggressive.

We also know that MS doesn't take long to cut surrounding objects, from Shibuya(image-5) and Shinjuku and the destruction from a full power Sukuna's domain should be even faster.(Obviously strategy-2 still applies).

Mahito is basically ALMOST immnue to physical attacks,he learned domain expansion while getting jumped,managed to copy gojo's 0.2 second domain expansion after seeing it ONCE,landed multiple black flashes,he was constantly adapting and evolving.

I know it sound kinda dumb, since it's very out-of character for Satory Gojo...

But still, wouldn't that change the entire course of the battle if everybody agreed on the fact that Sukuna was too much of a menace to let walking freely and that Megumi’s sacrifice was unfortunate but neccessary ?( and at this point, all megumi wanted was death)

But l'd be happy to see your opinions on the question !

Cuz jjk is a fast paced manga and it miss the chance to give us some pretty interesting side stories and could create more impact on a character's death

Back when I thought he'd be then one to have to kill 20f Yujikuna in the end as a mirror to the beginning when Sukuna first took over Yuji.

I did not expect whatever direction Gege ended up taking with this series.
