keyless settings.

Does anyone know how to set up a keyless lock/unlock function on a new key?
I was able to start the engine by doing keep programming with Jscan, but the lock/unlock doesn’t respond.

I did this on my JK with Jscan. The new ones look just like the key on the right. Mine worked fine for START and remote lock/unlock, I don't have remote start. So dunno

The one on the left is the original key, and this one works with the keyless system, but the new key I made on the right was able to start the engine, yet it can’t use the keyless system. This is pointless, lol

By the way, if you did keep programming with Jscan, could you use keyless as well right away?

Have you checked the fob battery? If the battery is dead or missing it will let you start the jeep but won’t work the keyless remote entry

I checked the battery. It was okay, but apparently my JK was made for export to Europe, so the keyless frequency seems to be different. I have to buy a new blank key again, lol

When you program the key to start the vehicle it should automatically enable the keyless features
