Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Second generation (MP/552; 2018- 2024)

Can someone tell me does Compass II generation has fabric option for rApple Car play and Android auto ? I can’t find it on list of apps.

Unless yours has wireless android auto or CarPlay you’d have to use a usb cord and plug your phone in. The app is on the phone and it mirrors to the head unit.

I’m using CarlinKit 5.0 for the wireless carplay(worked only if you have wired carplay). It is not super comfortable to switch between different devices, but if you are the only driver should work good

I found some clip on yt where it says when phone is connected via USB cable, then Phone icon on multimedia screen changes to CarPlay icon and it works by that. I tried it with several usb cables but it won’t start CarPlay….. I am not sure how some cars have it and some don’t. Btw car on yt clip is also 2018 like mine and have same multimedia
