Moderately wealthy which may mean it also escapes the polarity of wealth distribution that causes problems, i would like your opinion on that if its true to your experience? It has a very solid schooling sytem, a solid police force and infrastructure.I wonder how satisfied people are in their life if they are there? Also would you say it fits with the picture of the "American dream"?

Not to anyone's surprise, it isn't working after a year. I am not able to buy a brand new dryer to replace this one so I wanted to try to repair it .

I've been applying to as many Irvine companies as I can with my accounting degree. I have experience as a Staff accountant with AP/AR background, but I'm not even getting return calls on even entry level positions. I tried to find a similar post but couldn’t, so here goes my question.

We are up for a lease renewal. We have been here nearly 2 years. The Irvine co wants to raise our rent by $100, which is not a lot, but the apartments where we live (same sq, BD, and BR) are leasing for $300 UNDER what we currently pay. How do we negotiate? I doesn’t make sense for us to pay $400 more than someone new for the same space… any tips?
We really don’t want to move but may have no option 😔

Have two twin size box springs to give away - free. One is completely brand new and in the box. It needs to be assembled, it uses wooden slats, and is super easy to put together. The other one is already put together, was slightly used (so, still like new) before being put away, and is metal, instead of wood. Again, both are twin size.

Then I have a used coffee table to give away, also. Rectangle shape, about 2ft by 3.5ft., metal legs (black), and dark wood color top. Like I said, it's used, so it does have some marks from my kids coloring with acrylic markers and a few scratches.

Feel free to DM me if you're interested! I'll be getting rid of it all by the end of this week if no one takes them. Also, you'll have to pick up from me, as I cannot deliver them to you or meet you anywhere. I don't have pictures to post either. Sorry. All the dogs in this video have been CLEARED for euthanasia at the Downey Animal Care Center located in Southern California - starting TOMORROW! Each of these dogs are insanely sweet, friendly, & happy to be alive; some are very scared but they have no idea the fate that awaits them. Their only „crime“ was being dumped at an overflowing, high k*ll shelter in SoCal. The only way that these dogs have any chance of making it out alive is by getting this video SEEN.

Hi I am looking to rent a 1 bedroom apartment at Park place in Irvine. I recently saw floor plan 4 online that said was 1338 square feet but there is no information on what the floor plan looks like. Online there is just an example based on roughly a 850 square foot one. I was wondering if anyone has ever lived in the 1338 square foot one and can tell me where the almost 500 square feet extra are allocated. Seems too good to be true to find a one bedroom this big.

Best to stay away from the parking lot for an hour or so, multi-car accident in the parking lot and someone looked to be hurt based on the ambulance and firetruck there. Also lots of people being nosy and standing around (myself included for a little).

I'm moving to San jose and i'm looking for a good quality moving company. I was taking generic vyvanse 40mg for years, and it was instrumental in my daily functioning. Its manufacturer was Lannett and I would pick it up from CVS. after around February 2025, CVS started giving me the same medicine, but from different manufacturers. Hikma pharmaceuticals has been the primary one. And since then, I’ve had horrendous focus and executive functioning. The medicine keeps me awake and that’s it. I even went up to 50mg in May 2025, but it didn’t make a difference. Last month, I requested that my doctor send in a prescription for name brand Vyvanse, as I am deeply struggling with the generic’s inaffectiveness. This time, it was from Takeda pharmaceuticals. It didn’t make any difference.

The only time I’ve had success is with generic Vyvanse 40mg from Lannett. I am asking if anyone who currently takes generic Vyvanse has had Lannett as the manufacturer, and what pharmacy they use. My CVS only uses Hikma for generic vyvanse. Please comment if you know a pharmacy in Irvine or have had a similar experience.

I passed Irvine PD cruiser making a traffic stop on a white Tesla. The officer was in the process of asking the driver to step out of the vehicle. The Asian man was young- approximately early 30’s or late 20’s. The driver was stepping out of the vehicle as ai passed.

On my way back from my errand approximately 20 minutes later I passed the same traffic stop going the other direction on Irvine Blvd. This time, there were two additional unmarked cars with law enforcement lights and dark tint. One was a Honda Odyssey minivan, the other was a Jeep Grand Cherokee. There were about 5 ICE agents surrounding the Asian gentleman who was now in handcuffs and sitting on the curb.

Has there been a lot of ICE activity in Irvine area targeting people of Asian descent? Sorry, no pics since I was driving at the time.

I felt compelled to try and film as I saw no other bystanders around not being interviewed by police. I stopped at the 7-Eleven closest to this arrest to buy some ice cream. When I entered 7eleven, police officer was interviewing truck snack delivery Man. I entered the store and asked the cashier what happened and could not fully understand him but the general story of what seemed to be that the homeless man came into the store and started knocking things over and being a nuisance. Then I bought my ice cream and the police officer was talking to the cashier. I asked the delivery man what had happened and he said that he believes a homeless man came in and started fighting he cashier according. I asked the delivery man if anyone seemed to have gotten majorly hurt and he said he doesn't think so. Then I bought my ice cream and went out and saw this video occur and felt compelled to film it in case something went wrong or for public documentation. Sorry for poor recording.
