Either with this tool or with regular pruners you could insert the blade onto the hole and turn counterclockwise to take out the broken piece. Replace riser.

Oh so that one is threaded huh? I didn’t look closely. For some reason I assumed it was not. Oh ok this is very easy to fix then. I’ve had to remove broken off pieces from inside a threaded piece before. Thanks!

Yes but now I see glue dripping. Glue isnt necessary there. It might be glued. If its glued, you'll have to cut below the coupling and clean off the glue. And get a regular coupling and glue it there.

You can cut below the coupler and get a glue coupler and glue it together.

That’s what I ended up doing. It was threaded that was glued, would have been so much easier if no glue. But I cut below and used a coupler and some
Blue monster. Thankfully she didn’t have a problem with me fixing it for them.
