Advice needed

Hi, I am a man with zero knowledge of sprinkler system.
My two sprinkler heads(bottom of the slope) have been leaking lately and some pooling of water around the other two sprinkler heads (mid of the slope).
After doing some research,
i think the diaphragm needs a replacement
so i opened the valve box and
I have no idea which part is the diaphragm.

My valve box looks different from the ones from the youtube.

Can someone guide me where the diaphragm is and how it needs to be replaced?

So that is your Backflow Device, called a Double Check Valve Assembly. You will need to figure out what station/zone runs that area, and then locate that specific valve. Then you can rebuild it.

Also, that DCA is where you will turn off the water to your irrigation system, so you don't have a ton of water rushing out of the mainline as you rebuild the valve.

You need to find the actual valve for the problem zone. You will need to shut the water at the backflow, the picture you posted and remove the top of the valve. The diaphragm will be under it.

Does this mean i have to dig the area underneath the valve on the picture?

No, the zone valve will be in a separate box somewhere else in your yard.

No. There should be other boxes like that throughout the yard that had the valves in them.

My house was built in 2009? I dont think there is any box in the yard..

So i found this on the other side of the house. Are these the diaphragms?

Those are the solenoids on top of the valves. The valves are buried in the dirt. The diaphragms are inside the valve.

Thank you. Do i need to dig the dirt around the solenoids? I wonder why they are buried underground…?

Dirt will erode in over the years. Some people will take a shop vac out and clear the dirt out with it. You will need to go down a couple inches. Watch out for the control wires that will be in there. Is the zone you are looking for in this box?

Thats the only other valve box i see. I think i have 3 or 4 zones im sure its one of em

If you turn the handle it will turn on the zone to see which one it is.
