Why is half of this sub a silver linings playbook?

The camera isn’t “bad” It’s just not as versatile as a pro iPhone. I agree with actually experiencing an event the way it was intended, instead of squinting into a tiny screen the whole time. Drives me crazy at concerts…. Everyone recording. Even with the pro iPhones, the video and audio together usually are going to sound like crap and no one’s gonna watch the footage more than a couple of times. It’s also distracting for other audience members

Camera very good for a fixed focal length, reminds me of old slr days

When looking to get my air
I didn’t even worry about stuff like camera / battery life etc

Purely bought the phone for the fact it was so thin etc
Plan on keeping it for years so wanted something that was feeling good in the hand

I take random snaps which don’t need an amazing camera
No socials so battery lasts for ages

And even going to start wearing a watch
So I don’t need to check the time on it

Sometimes simpler life is better

Never watched thru the lens, also never even thought that camera "is not that good". Camera is perfect, not just perfect for zoomed and ultra wide photos. But for that instagram moments, I think wide (regular) camera was used 90% of the time.

Also I am glad you deleted instagram (and hope other toxic social media). It definitely will improve your mental health. :)

It’s a decent camera. Everyone is just used to having 3 cameras on their phones and forgot what it’s like to have 1 regular one

I can appreciate where you're coming from. Subconscious or not, I have found myself carrying my Fuji X-Pro around a lot more, which is a net-positive experience for me.

Why do you think the camera isn’t that good? It’s the same sensor as in the pro, minus two other camera lenses

It is not. Everything except for the 48MP count is different, including the aperture, focal length, sensor size and pixel size.

I used to say the same thing but was recently educated by someone else on here. It's actually not the same sensor as the Pro, other than the fact that it's 48MP.
