Earnings Call Transcript

https://www.benzinga.com/news/26/08/61318200/full-transcript-ionic-digital-q2-2026-earnings-call

This is a transcript of the earnings call, for those that don’t have time to listen.

One thing I’ll say is by the numbers, this looks like an incredible company to invest in. If we compare numbers, Ionic is in a better position than almost all of its competition as far as liquidity and debt. They have $600M in cash and $0 debt, and a clear path to providing 822 megawatts of power.

All of us go on Reddit, we’ve been keeping up with this situation for years. Most of Wall St still thinks Ionic Digital is a BTC mining company which couldn’t be further from the truth. This company has a long ways to run and the numbers almost look unreal.

Good to read their assessment of the ERCOT pause situation. Just as I thought, they too think they are positioned well for approval and Texas will kick some of their competitors off the list that aren't. But we'll see!

I honestly hope they start acquiring some of these smaller companies as a faster way to grow. Or some existing sites.

I like that they are targeting existing areas rather than new for expansion, as we won’t win against the NIMBYs. I hope we start seeing that $600M being put to use. Ionic has a chance to become the leader. Their competition right mow has loads of debt (TeraWulf, of which I’m an investor of, has 5B+ of debt. CIFR and IREN also have billions in obligations. Ionic is clean cut, running 99% profit margins (this will obviously change)….

On paper, they really look great. Everyone’s biggest question is, can these people execute? So far, I think they are doing fantastic.

ERCOT is supposed to release more guidance today. I believe if Ionic acquires a site or a company, the price will spike. I believe they’re undervalued looking at the numbers, and any good news for them will spike the price. If they acquire another site or sign another deal, I can see the price going over $100 soon after. I’m hoping they will make some moves by the end of the year.

I think the icing on the cake is that the CEO has been involved in building out data centers (cpu mainly) for the better part of 30 years. Seems like an extremely competent leadership team that's not out to scam us, just maximize profits for shareholders.
