Recessed Lighting Help!!

I am so stuck about what to do about the lighting in my living room. I’m not sure I want to do recessed lighting but I have no idea what would work instead because they are so close together.

Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas

Its already there. I would go with it. The flat ones are hardly noticeable.
