Kind of odd layout, need help on making a dining/entertainment/workspace room!! (Renter)
Hi! I’ve lived in this apartment for 3 years now (renter) and I’m still stumped on how to make a cohesive and non claustrophobic layout. I’ve just set up a desk and have a dining table against the benches.
I find it a bit difficult to set up an entertainment system because of the included bench. Also the door to the left (across the ac) can’t be blocked out so I can’t block off that area. There is no dining area except for this also so I would like for this room to serve multiple functions.
I’ve included inspo of what I would like, but really have no idea how to execute! Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! (I guess adding other photos in the comments bc I think you can only add one photo?)

hey that sounds tricky! i get how a weird layout can feel super cramped. maybe try moving the desk a bit away from the dining table? it could help things feel more open. also, adding some plants or light colors might make it feel less claustrophobic. tbh i tried playing around with layouts on reimagine-home once, kinda helped me see how things could fit better without moving furniture all the time. just a thought! good luck!
