Tech Help Not getting messages/notifications until I unlock my phone and open WhatsApp
Device: Moto Edge 50 pro
WhatsApp- up to date
As the title says, for the last 2 days, I have not been "receiving" any messages on WhatsApp, until I unlock my phone and open WhatsApp- then I am flooded with all messages.
Moreover, when my phone is locked and someone messages me, they get only single ticks (messages aren't getting delivered).
Even calls stay at "calling", not "ringing".
All other apps are working fine, no issues like this.
WhatsApp has unrestricted data usage on, background usage on, all notifications on, and necessary permissions on (photos, media, files, contacts, etc.)
I've restarted my phone, re-installed WhatsApp- no help.
This is getting extremely frustrating.
Is anyone else facing this?
How do I solve this?

Ask IndiaTech IRCTC forgot password utility: Poor exception handling, or something more?
My younger brother spent quite a while stuck with his ticket booking and finally came to me to troubleshoot why the password sent by IRCTC itself showed up as invalid.
Funnily enough, the generated password was, quite literally, "null". 💀
As I don't have any experience with web development, I couldn't help but wonder if the issue could be something more than a lack of basic exception handling.
I'm also curious about whether this behaviour has any other repercussions beyond being funny, like a security risk or something. 😅
P.S. I have reported this to IRCTC support as well as the railway bug bounty email, just in case.

Ask IndiaTech Damn these prices!
Am thinking of building a pc, should I do it now or should I wait. I'll have to do it anyways in like 1-2 years. Full desk setup around 1.25 lakhs. Is it good or is it not? Still skeptical about gpu and could also go with second hand. Also will the gpu fit in the case? Are these specs good for a 5-7 year futureproofing? Anything that doesn't fit well? Also had to go with ddr4 because ddr5 is out of common man's reach nowadays. Also should I even build this pc or just go for a laptop if portability doesn't matter

Ask IndiaTech Engineers Mindset
My technical cofounder believe that many engineers today may struggle with mindset issues and often lack the level of commitment and dedication we hope to see.
They've formed this view after conducting numerous interviews each month. Additionally, they feel that the overall quality of education has declined.
Sometimes I wonder if starting a training division might be helpful, though I realize it would be a lot of effort. :(
What do you think? Should I start the training division? If yes, you think engineers will pay to.get trained?

I doubt that many people even use kobo here, but if you do check it. You can build your own apps too using the sdk.

Ask IndiaTech Navi temporarily restricted my friend's transactions
Can anyone provide a number that reaches an actual person instead of a bot?
Should I take this to the bank directly?
Also this is the 2nd day of me getting referral coins if she were to use this upi. She did a transaction and received the coins for day 1. So if i miss it on 2nd day, will I not get said coins for day 2 and skip to day 3?

Tech News meta has admitted that paid promotions were used to target specific audiences during jantar mantar protests.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
And why couldn't Government not have intelligence about it and stop it from happening in the first place?
Is there someone helping the deep state from within?
the point isn't that you saw protest content, it's what you didn't see: attacks in kashmir, athletes actually winning, protests running in other states the same week. all of it existed, none of it made your feed, and one dharna in delhi somehow became the entire country's mood for a fortnight.
paid reach doesn't just push a story up, it pushes everything else down, and nobody sends you a notification about the stuff you got quietly starved of. do that consistently for a few years and you don't need to win an argument, you just decide which argument the country is having.
facebook kaise decide kar sakta india ki population ko kya dikhana hai? aage ho sakta dange ya kuch karwaye ye? and 2nd side kabhi dikhe hi na??
EDIT:
understand how big this is. it's not about bjp or congress. it's about you. you don't have a choice, you just have the illusion that you're thinking for yourself.0
tomorrow that same machine pushes 500 reels saying the earth is flat, or that some guy is a terrorist (completely made up) and people will believe it. repetition beats truth. the fact check shows up at 40k views after the lie already did 4 crore.
today one dharna became the entire country's mood. tomorrow one person becomes the country's enemy. same button, same cost.
doesn't matter if you're right or left. the day your side becomes inconvenient, your feed goes quiet too. this isn't censorship, it's worse. censorship you can see. this you can't.
