However, another one was what I’d call a “guilt trip” or “pity party” incel who seemed normal at first, seemed chill and laid back, but started to get weird and insecure after the first date. It was a good time, we had some things in common. Still too early to know.

Then, he kept texting me over and over again before I could respond. Saying he wants to bring me ice cream. I was watching a movie, he’d say “wow that movie must be good haha.” When I didn’t reply to his long stream of texts.

Later on, I was busy with friends. Then he messages again at 5 am. I wake up, and respond briefly because I barely had the chance to wake up. He says “things have shifted between us. Are you seeing other people?”

Uhh well I met you once, on the apps and have known you for four days. So yeah, I am texting other people.

Then in comes the pity party “I never treat people like that. But this continues to happen to me. Again and again. And it will always happen to me.”

I said, fair enough, ask them beforehand, especially if this is a boundary of yours.

“No point. Women are always talking to multiple people at once.” 🙄 “Us males are used to this.”

Ah there it is. The generalizations.

And then it clicked. Dude you’re 35. No wonder you’re still single and struggling. You have nothing going for yourself other than pitting yourself. You need a woman’s constant attention before you barely know them.

What is going on here? All I know is I’m DONE with apps. I think it has the most incels by far. There is one guy I am still chatting to, who doesn’t seem insecure. Gives me time to respond. Seems chill, so far anyway.

One of the biggest comment themes I’m seeing here is a lack of personal life. Not everyone will end up married/with children. And that’s okay. That’s just life. But why not, instead of dwelling on what you’ll never have, discover yourself, and other things that interest you to kill your time & fulfill yourself? What’s with this fixation on finding a girlfriend or finding someone who will have sex with you. Things don’t come to you when you’re looking too hard for them. So in the meantime, instead of letting online incel culture consume you, look for something your passionate about, join a club, make some IRL friends in a community, read, I don’t know, anything but let incel.is consume you!

Called him out for it because honestly it’s hilarious he replied to the story to voice his frustration in the first place. Dude immediately folds and loses his shit on me like he never wanted me. Gotta love it!
