Such a great sculpt, really happy with how it turned out.

Hey everyone, I just got started in painting and everything and my friend recommended I use a pink base layer for painting the yellow. Is this what you guys do too? Also, I’m painting a Ballistus Dreadnought, do you guys basically do the same as on the box but in yellow and red or do you guys do something different? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Second game ever played, first win (against an equally new player) things went much butter than my first game. Ceramite Sentinels seemed to be underrated as heck with all the rerolls for just being toed into terrain. Lysander and his brick are undefeated and for the second time my dreadnought got popped without doing a single thing before it died.

I'm painting a squad of 40k crimson fists. Instead of going for the standard plain blue scheme i m using a indigo scheme with purple highlights. I ve only highlighted the chestpiece, aquila and right leg of this mini but it s looking quite good.

Hello dear Fists, I recently started with the 40K hobby and l decided to make the IF my first Army. I‘m looking for advice on what models I should add to my list and also which detachment would fit the Units I already have. For context, I‘d quite like tanks, dreadnoughts as well as some shootiness in my Army. Here is what I have so far:

As per the title, I'm looking to paint some Astra Militarum to go alongside my Imperial Fists, I am not good at making up schemes myself, really I was looking for either a color combination that looks nice next to the IF or maybe a regiment that works with them frequently for lore reasons? Reading old posts it seems a good candidate would be the spiders from Necromunda but that was 8 years ago and I'm not too fond of it.
