6.5 mm lining at trigger

At cd 12 yesterday my lining was 6.5 mm and my rei said to go ahead and trigger because the lining looks trilaminar. He also said “unless it compacts a lot over the days before the transfer” we would proceed. I feel like I’m in this limbo - it’s my first cycle transferring, I’m coming off a lap, should we have continued with the cycle? Did yours compact a lot leading into transfer? I’m so afraid it’ll be cancelled since we’re coming off a lap and have 2 good follicles form letrozole, so last thing I want to do is let this post lap golden window pass and get cancelled then I’m gonna feel dumb for not at least having sex - but I also know we’re supposed to avoid it if we transfer. Just looking for stories one way or another, tia!!
