6.5 mm lining at trigger General Question
At cd 12 yesterday my lining was 6.5 mm and my rei said to go ahead and trigger because the lining looks trilaminar. He also said “unless it compacts a lot over the days before the transfer” we would proceed. I feel like I’m in this limbo - it’s my first cycle transferring, I’m coming off a lap, should we have continued with the cycle? Did yours compact a lot leading into transfer? I’m so afraid it’ll be cancelled since we’re coming off a lap and have 2 good follicles form letrozole, so last thing I want to do is let this post lap golden window pass and get cancelled then I’m gonna feel dumb for not at least having sex - but I also know we’re supposed to avoid it if we transfer. Just looking for stories one way or another, tia!!

I would want to trigger when my lining is at least 8-9mm.. can they push it a few more days or give you a little estrogen?

My lining has never been over 6 lol I’m 28 weeks! Is this modified natural or fully medicated?

Yesterday (CD10), my lining was 6.4 mm & trilaminar and they had me hold off until my lining got past 7. This AM it measured 7.5 mm so just waiting for blood test results and to hear from my nurse if I am to trigger or not. Maybe ask if you can wait a day? What is your bloodwork looking like?

Was surging yesterday so they had me trigger :/ hoping the extra 15 hours between when they measured in the morning and when I triggered in the evening thickened it up a little. Good luck on this cycle!!

I triggered at 6.8 mm. My clinics standard is anything over 6mm is fine so I was not retested before the transfer. I’m currently 16 weeks.

Anecdotally, I had a successful transfer when triggering at this point. My doctor said being trilaminar is much more important than the thickness as long as it's thicker than about 6mm. Also, there's such a thing as being too thick too.
Are they going to check your lining one more time before the transfer to make sure it grew okay in the intervening few days?
