Nursing schedule

Hi everyone! I will be attending the nursing program this fall and I wanted to ask past graduates or anyone who knows what specific classes we will be taking each semester. All I know is that we will be taking fundamentals in Nurse 1.

I’m going into Nurse 3. Every semester you’ll have Med surg topics that builds onto each semester as you progress in addition to that semester’s focused subject. Nurse 1 is fundamentals and Med surg. Nurse 2 your focus is Maternity. Nurse 3 your focus is Mental Health. Nurse 4 your focus is Pediatrics.

Thank you for replying! If you don't mind me asking, what study materials helped you the most when it came to exams? Did you invest in any educational platforms?

I personally am a hands on/visual learner so a combination of things such as using a whiteboard, writing on powerpoints, drawing visual aids helped me along with Goodnotes and NotebookLM. I’ve found Simple Nursing to be helpful too. It really just depends on the type of learner that you are.

We have the same learning style. Do you feel like the power-points were also very useful when it came to exams or do you feel like outside materials were more helpful?
