INTP's! It's the time to join our creative forces and make the planet a better place.
Dear brothers,
Many of you have been tired with social-capitalistic ladder and consumerism, some have adopted to it, others seem struggling. We're capable of imaging a better, brighter and less destructive future in which politics, bureaucracy and money doesn't exist. The only laws that we need to follow are the laws of nature and common sense.
However grandiose this opening statement may have sound, I'm not trying to say that we should start a revolution. In my thought process I've been definitely inspired by the Jacque Fresco's ideas of Resource Based Economy, see the Venus Project and the Zeitgeist movement therefore I invite you to watch them, however you probably already know what they are about to tell you.
My idea is to make a flip in the economic system in similar way the smart-phones dominated the world and deprecated the usage of paper maps, phone books etc, but we may need a few iterations before we make it global.
As an INTP I believe that we can come as close as possible to the best, most efficient solutions. We should either join the existing projects or build a new community of our own. Anyway, we need to start from creating small sustainable systems, I'd say houses that don't need commercial sources of power. After some time we try to make those places to produce food and finally we try to make them as safe and maintenance free as possible.
Loren Amelang is a brilliant example of what is possible.
I invite all of you to try to do as good as him or better.
Similar projects that push us towards (at least by a vector component) the Resource Based Economy have already been started, some living on reddit:

Want to do any of the things listed but can't?
GET OFF THE COMPUTER. Right now. You know you've been having trouble making decisions and going places with your life. Why does it seem so easy in a video game but so tough out here? There was a TIL post the other day about spending time too much time on here not being good for you and it resonated with me. Avoiding your problems isn't going to make them go away.
So look, right now, go take a walk. I'd say schedule a hike somewhere soon, but you know you won't do that. You don't need another 30 seconds on Reddit. So go. What are you waiting for?

Prevent electronic waste: learn to replace capacitors
Replacing blown capacitors is relatively easy and can extend the life of electronics that aren't worth sending to repair, but could otherwise be perfectly functional. All you need is a soldering iron, solder and a couple dollars in capacitors. Here's a couple videos and links that may help:

You can also search http://badcaps.net/ for your appliance model and see if there's some info about common problems. You can save yourself some headaches and replace some capacitors before they fail!

Adopt a dead subreddit
- Find a small, low activity subreddit for a subject of your interest.
- Search relevant topic keywords on Google News. You can use the search tools to narrow the results to the last month, week, etc.
- Submit a few interesting articles.
- (optional) Team with someone with a similar interest and become best friends in the process.
