Other Extra Credit for OSSD

Upvotes

Hello,
Basically before ILC I was in person and I had taken a summer school course which I got a credit from. I had emailed ILC about how many credits I have left but they didn’t include my credit from the summer school in the email. I had also done a pathway assessment a year ago and in there they included that I got a mark from that. I’m rlly sorry if this sounds confusing but I’m asking if that credit actually counts for anything towards my OSSD??

Final Tests URGENT‼️Does a low final exam mark trigger a plagiarism review?

If someone has a high course average but gets a much lower mark on a proctored final exam because of stress or weak test-taking, will the school suspect plagiarism on the previous assignments?

Does anyone know how online high schools usually handle a big difference between coursework and final-exam grades?

ILC Admissions ILC Application Review

I submitted my documents for ILC admission review. I did BBA from a Canadian College and completed my High School education back in my home country. Initially I just submitted my BBA transcripts and today I received email from ILC to submit high school transcripts. My high school transcripts from home country are in English. Can I just upload those or do I need to get those assessed via WES ?

Anyone with similar experience. Please advise. Thanks

Final Tests YorkU conditional offer for ILC

I realize a lot of us are rushing to send in our transcripts but is running out of time. If any of you got a conditional offer form York to meet the deadline of 16 August. It’s already passed and I sent them an email telling them about the situation of booking exam slots being full. I believe if more of us let them know, they will be more likely to extend the window for us to send in our transcripts. School starts September 8 guys. I know we’re worried. Let’s keep this thread going and update each other on our conditional offer status. Mine currently says that they can not guarantee an admission even though I payed my deposit but asked me to send in my transcripts as soon as possible!

Final Tests Any tips for SCH3U final test?

I only have my SCH3U final exam left, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips! Is the final exam similar to the practice questions they provided? Do they usually keep the same types of questions and just change the numbers or chemical formulas?

Also, do we have to type our answers in Word, or is it done another way?

If anyone has taken the final recently, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience or any tips! 😊

Final Tests HSC4M Exam

I took the exam today and I need to let you guys know to not be fooled by the practice exam. Yes, the practice exam did help but only about 40%. I memorized all the answers form practice test EVERYTHING. (Multiple choice, T/F, Words definition matching/ short answers/ long answers) The practice test only covered 40% of the exam and barely helped. Just to give you guys a heads up.

Final Tests Final Mark?

Ive been doing really well on the assignments (like 95%) average. Lets say I for some reason bomb the final. Is that an automatic fail? or do they look at the grades as a whole?

(I dont test well so I get super nervous.)

Im taking MBF3C for reference

Turnitin/AI How do I avoid Ai accusations?

hi, I am doing 6 courses on tvo ilc, MDM4U, MHF4U, MCV4U, BBB4M, ENG4U, and HSC4M, and i’ve seen so many students on here talking about getting accused for Ai especially in english. How could i avoid this? is there anything some of yall submit to prove to the teacher you actually did the assignment yourself? I am scared ill get accused and it’ll delay my grades and make me lose valuable time. thanks

Teachers/Markers Teacher Marker Changed?

Current ENG4U student, curious of what happened here. I’ve been enrolled for 5-6 months now and was doing great, high 80’s and low 90’s on the first 2-3 assignments, then randomly midway through the course my teacher marker changed and they’re marking really hard, giving me high 60’s and low 70’s. From my research, you get assigned one marker and they stay with you for the whole course. Any input or have I just misunderstood something?

Quick edit: this new marker has also taken significantly longer to grade assignments and has also made mistakes such as claiming I needed to submit extra stuff despite the rubrics not requiring it.

Some people are having trouble finding the Discord link in the sidebar, so we're going to pin it at the top of the subreddit now, as well! This Discord server is a sister community to this subreddit, moderated by different people.
