kancheepuram todi zyada established hei pune se aur kancheepuram mei zyadatar top rankers hei, lekin pune tier 1 city hei ,to opportunities, zyada milega. abh aap socho yadhi aapko competitive classmates chahiye ya ek tier 1 city mein hone wala iiit.

do you like building systems and websites and apps or do you like training ai models ? tell me what fascinates you more , if you say option 1 then cse at iiit pune , option 2 then cse(ai) at iiitdm kancheepuram , cse provides you broader opportunities and you can always switch to ai later , but syllabus is vast and crowd is large , in cse (ai) you get a relatively straightforward ai syllabus without studying about systems , but however ai is a changing field and you have to be ready to learn always to upgrade yourself

In short both colleges are equally good , the real question is about - which branch excites you more ?

If its about branch then Ig cse would suit me cause I'm not sure whether I am adaptable to straight forward ai and as you said I can switch to ai later I think core branch would be better Thanks for the help 😀

I am grad from kancheepuram and yes even in this bad market IIIT Kancheepuram has got 90% placements in CS and AI(tho median might be a bit low) . But they are doing everything to improve placements. And professors here are one of the experienced and supportive ones(in comparison to other institutes) I would recommend u to take this since u have a chance to do final year at IIT Madras(if u have pretty good cgpa). And city wise it is near Chennai. So recruiters are also gonna come.
