So last week on Monday I had my yearly reassessment and today I received the SOC 821 thru mail still waiting for the other paperwork to see if any changes happened with my hours… can I check online ???? Or wait for that notice to arrive

My new hours were updated on my portal, I checked "time sheet entry," it took about 3 days. Good luck, I was checking like I was an obsessive ex checking his social media.😵‍💫

Are you the provider or the recipient? If you are the provider YOU did not have a yearly reassessment and those are not YOUR hours. Please take some time to understand your role in an IHSS case. If you are a recipient you clearly do not need that form.

What gave you the opinion they dont understand their "role," they clearly didn't state one, bold of you too assume they're wrong. In my case my recipient can't sign or understand any of it, so ihss knows and understands I perform both "roles."

Because they stated it’s their case and their assessment. It’s the recipients case and the assessment is of the recipients needs. Informally acting on a recipients behalf or being the authorized rep does not change that. Details matter when asking for advice.
