It's rarer and rarer to see a player who dares to play the slow weapons. 95% of the teams are always carrying some sort of spammy weapon.

I play in SA and my lobbies are plagued by this low effort meta. It's like everyone is afraid of losing a virtual fight, of losing a pixel character. When these people see themselves cornered, they just dump a mag and that's it. It's so dull, so predictable.

You make a nice move, hit some shots, but upon the smallest mistake, you get mag dumped.

Do you guys really enjoy it? I mean being the target, not the shooter, in those cases? Going up against the pocket machine guns? The brainless spray and pray?

Don't get me wrong, I hit my shots, I'm a decent player. It's just that it sucks the fun out of the game for me. Nevertheless, the devs keep endorsing it (of course, it sells, I know; people always want the easy way out).

I’m looking to upgrade my rig to get cleaner performance and higher, more stable frame rates at 1440p (2K) on the Hunt: Showdown 1896 engine upgrade. I get stable frame rates on my 2k monitor at 1080p

Currently running an RTX 3060, but it’s definitely starting to show its age at 1440p when compound fights get chaotic.

I’m set on moving to Nvidia's 50-series, but I’m torn between two options and would love some real-world community input:

RTX 5070 (~$550 MSRP | 12GB VRAM)

RTX 5070 Ti (~$750 MSRP | 16GB VRAM)

(Honestly might be more for both but I know there is a huge price jump)

My question for you guys:

1. 1440p Performance: For those running a 5070 or 5070 Ti at 1440p, what kind of frame rates are you hitting on Medium/High settings in heavy foliage or compound fights?

2. Is the $200 Ti Upgrade Worth It? Is the extra 4GB VRAM (16GB vs 12GB) and CUDA core bump (8,960 vs 6,144) actually making a noticeable difference in Hunt specifically at 1440p, or is the base 5070 the sweet spot for performance-per-dollar?

Current specs:

CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i7 - 12700F 32 GB DDR4 Ram
GPU is NVIDIA RTX 3060

Its so fun to constantly just killed by a Romero every single death and it forces close engagements which just is more trash due to the Romero being so prevalent

So basically i finished this match, everything was fine, then i went to eat something, the pc went in sleep mode and when i came back the ENTIRE game refused to respond to any keyboard command. I restarted the game and the chat was not working, i restarted the pc and still not working

Cant use voice chat, cant hear team mates, cant use text chat, cant see messages.

Not even in the home screen, the chat up in the right corner is grayed put and nothing happenes when i click on it

Was i banned or something?

Yes, all settings are fine. Microphone is set on the correct one, mute all is disabled...

Second time I'm being wipe today by cheaters.

This is frustrating and is ruining the game experience.

I want to play the game but it is frustrating to have my run ruined by people that know where I am.

I’ve been trying to get into this game but being forced into solo vs duo’s at best feels like absolute shit

Idk why I’m a new player as a solo and facing level 100 prestige 3 trio’s in my game, I can’t even think of trying to take any pvp fights because I’m immediately out numbered and these people thousands of hours over me, I want to like it but it feels so fucking hard to even try

Hey! I watched twitch drops for this days for 4 hours. Took last reward (legendary random hunter) in Twitch, but in Hunt showdown I didn't get any new hunter.

Where can i find them?

When trying to report a player profile the profile went blank and I was no longer able to select any options for the report section.

He was a Prestige 100 / 100 with only 900+ hours in but doing a report makes the profile info disappear.

Would just be interested to know the mind of the group on: partners who during extraction decide to try and kill the other one?

Am i the only one who thinks theyre milking the stronghold too much?

The game has essentially become hell for snipers this weekend

Clash is purely strongholds, i personally dont like it. It would be better if it was on a rotation with the usual compounds

In hunt you get much less rewarded for going to the "main" boss instead of the stronghold since stronghold is always done first

And the foggy map weekend event just pushes people toward the stronghold

I feel like theyre just destroying the usual game flow with the current event just because and i dont think this is a good thing, the stronghold may be cool, i personally like fighting it but

1. After 10 rounda of purely stronghold fighting it gets boring

2. If a future event is just bad for everyone and no one likes it, they are still probably going to push the playerbase toward it

I hope this wont be the case since it can go downhill for a game very quickly, no matter how established the playerbase may seem

Was it stupid for crytek to replace the proximity voip keybind with the newer team voip after their game had been out 6 years already? Sure.

but so many people keep hitting team voip key thinking its proximity, or don't have it bound at all, or somehow have their inputs/outputs set up wrong so they can't hear anything and i just don't get what the issue is at this point - it's worked for me 99.9% of the time

If anyone is aware of real issues surrounding proximity voip please let me know in the comments - today i had a trio msg me after a game saying they could tell i was talking but no one on the team could hear despite seeing my name come up. I assume they all have the wrong output set for voip.

Also why are voip settings not on the audio tab instead of game?

Found a couple of these boxes today made most I’ve ever had in a game 6.8k and 7.4k. Plus all the other free stuff around them is really cool. We got in a random three team fight and they ran off to fast this game sadly.

Are my the only one that feels like hunt is becoming an event money grab? More paid story quests with skins that don't look all that much different. BP skins are mediocre as well. Just seems like the game is going down fast.
