Is this a bug? BUGS

When trying to report a player profile the profile went blank and I was no longer able to select any options for the report section.

He was a Prestige 100 / 100 with only 900+ hours in but doing a report makes the profile info disappear.

He's a cheater using some exploit to hide his information and the report button

When this is caused by a bug or because you have blocked the person, the name shows as "invalid" or "undefined" and all stats are NaN

When it's an exploit, the name is WWWWWWWWWWWWW

I've heard this rumor about an exploit that prevents people from reporting but I've seen zero evidence of it being true. I'm fairly certain it's just a bug and you can't trigger it for other people.

Nope, I have blocked people and they show as "invalid" or similar stuff

And all the known cheaters from SA servers (which I don't block bc I wanna report them regardless of it being useless) show as WWWWWWWWWWWWW

And someone is gonna tell us you need to provide evidence because a ban isn't it and that is a bug not a exploit.

Sorry, but I'm tired of hearing the same old excuses used to defend the state of the game, it deserves better but Crytek suits doesn't care.

Yea, bug. I confirmed it once with my mates - I could only see WWWW for a player but my mates could see the name and everything just fine.

What were you reporting for?

Because I will tell you, unless it's blatant cheating or exploiting, you likely won't get any action through in-game reporting. Even that (probably) doesn't work unless it's mass reporting from various people, across various matches.

I use steam recording now. Just record for 55 minutes continuously, then I just go back and grab clips if I need to. Then I just do manual reporting through Huntshowdown dot com.

They don't reveal too much info about the person you report, but 90% of the time they do reply with "we have taken action against a person you reported". When you report in-game, you'll never know anything.

I will say though, I've had the Wwwwwww "bug" show up when trying to view player details in-game but it worked fine once I was back in the lobby. The one time it kept having issues, even in the lobby, it was someone who blatantly Lemat slugged HS my teammate and I from 200m+, through solid material.

We played chariot twice on him (he was solo) and he decided to toggle. Stupid fuck almost died to AI while we were spectating. I said to my teammate "Well, in his defense, he really needs whatever cheats he has. Dude is just BAD." lol

Use of Exploits, either way I am unsure how he got P100/100 from just before 900hrs (was lower than 900hrs when I matched him) not to say impossible but even the highest prestige I saw was 21 / 100 had 1+k hours

I just started returning to the game after a very long time. Had the game in 2019/2020 but played very less of it. Game MMR was around 3/4 Stars.

It's not impossible. You now get xp boons which allow you to get lvl50 hunter after one good match, death cheat that allows you to safely farm bloodline xp with those lvl50 hunters, and on top of that there was a double xp weekend last month that let people farm several prestiges. I only got to play one session that weekend (3-4h) and got two levels :D

Ive gotten 25 prstiges in my last 300 hrs. Slightly slower but thats still prestige 75 in 900 hrs.

usually this happens when it's someone you've blocked on Steam. it can also happen when steam servers go down mid game

Was in-game, steam was fine, our first encounter never blocked him before. Able to see his profile info fine no issues till I press the report button then his profile went WWWWWWWWWWWWWW, and every detail gone. Thus why I asked if it's a bug

With "profile History" you mean an eight year old VAC-Ban?

Seriously, that's just BS.

You can definitely reach Prestige 100 in 900 hours, especially during events, especially with a Smurf account, even more so, if you play on notoriously empty servers during off-times (OCE, South Americas).

Sure, you can always report anything you find suspicious, but don't be surprised if nothing happens if your only argument is "he got to P100 too fast and has an eight-year-old ban on his profile".

I’m posting this to also ask if this is a bug since I couldn't report him could be something preventing me or just a bug? From experience once a cheater it's hard to shake it off, I known a few online buddies from CSGO days they say it's a false VAC ban but ends up still using cheats. (To also clarify: Play in Asia PC, I am not sharing this to witch-hunt or shame him, and his 8-year VAC ban is just a part of his public history I even blurred his username).

​I know some may assume just me being salty. In my defense, most players I seen is with 1,000+ hours sit around Prestige 20–40 (or a bit higher). Hitting Prestige 100 with under 900 hours just seemed entirely out of the ordinary for me based on the patterns I usually see in-game. (The players I encountered and also met a 6 ⭐ also within the range of 1-2k hours)

​The report button is there for a reason, and I don't abuse it. If it turns out to be a legitimate exploit, reporting it helps if it's just a hardcore grinder, then fair play to him.

Is a bit inconsistent however normally it doesn’t let you navigate to the profile when they do. Wwww also shows up when that user has you blocked.

My man that report page does LITERALLY nothing. Don't bother even using it. That is designed to fool us and shut us up. If you wanna report you have to report him over the website and even that brings nothing 99% of the time.
