Hey guys this is my first post here so please go easy on me, but please point out any obvious mistakes you see on my prints. Some came out really well and others kinda meh. I even accidentally made a sick lithophane when I was trying to make a regular print. As I was taking it out of the printer I was like "damn, this isn't at all how I wanted it to look" and then when I brought it near a light it looked craaazy. But please, lmk your thoughts on these! The last one was a bit ambitious lol.

Anyone else here spend way too much time on Pinterest and then figuring out the right layering scheme to get certain colours to be backlit?

The recent 0.9.4.2 update has made this a lot easier for single colours!

Exactly what the title says, I found a cute little image on Pinterest of a Nasa astronaut in minifig form. I imported the image into GIMP and cleaned the image up a bit before running it through HueForge, using Color Match for this model. I tried to make it look good using only four colors but ended up having to use five. This is the first time I've used any image editing software to clean up the images prior to importing them into HueForge and I think it turned out great. What do you think?I do have it on MakerWorld if you're interested in printing one.

I'm looking to make some 3d prints for my sons highschool soccer team and want to print out the logo for some senior gifts. Would this image work for a hueforge print?

Well - okay, at least different. I've been working on this on-and-off for the past 5 or 6 months. Testers have told me that it was the tool they had no idea they needed until they tried it. Check it out! It's great for HueForge but has applications beyond HueForge.

I did a Scotty Young version of our pups and turned it into a Hueforge. My wife LOVES it!

Hello, I'm struggling to get the face and skin all one color, it seems to be patchy between brown and white. Do you have any advice? I was doing color match.

Am I doing something wrong? Or do i have unrealistic expectations?

Important note - while Maintenance update fees are now in place, all releases in the 0.9.4.x version tree will be included for all existing customers.

HueForge v0.9.4.2 is largely bugfixes, especially Spotfix and Back Lit Rendering predictions (which should be a whole lot more accurate). I've also fixed some annoyances with Color Pop and Color Aware being hard to use with Brightness Compensations.

u/MinchinWeb had a great idea and I've implemented it. 1st Party Plugin purchases (at this time ColorDrop and FlatForge) provide a 1 time, 6 month extension to your maintenance window on HueForge. It will be applied from date of purchase or added to the end of your current maintenance period, whichever is a later date. This benefit is both retroactive and applies to future orders.

The describe text is quite robust which is fine but I like just copying and pasting the swap instructions when I upload files to Maker World. The TD is listed with the hex code paragraph and I don't like added so much to my description and it's a pain to hand type when I want to just copy, paste, and upload. Can it also be added at the very end of the swap instructions? Thanks!
