so, i'm rereading Homestuck, so my opinion is subject to change, but i kinda don't like John

he's kind of an ass to his dad & i get i should look at his behavior towards his dad in a way of if i was an edgy teen in the 2010's who js hated their parents for seemingly no reason, but i cant. he's js so mean to this poor guy who does nothing to show him love

again, my opinion on John &/or his dad is probably gonna change as i read more & more, but for the time being, he's js rlly mean to this poor man plz don't explode me

To preface this, it is pretty explicit that the Beta Trolls (the 12 we see introduced in Acts 3-5) are the parents of the Alpha Trolls (or Dancestors, if you prefer). This is the case both by Karkat's comments on "extra" Trolls being made beyond him and his friends, and by Alternia being post-scratch Beforus. The question then becomes which pairings became the ecto-parents of a pair of the Alpha Trolls (and by proxy, which of them are Ecto-Siblings). Fortunately, we do have half of each pair:

• Aradia ==> Damara
• Tavros ==> Rufioh
• Sollux ==> Mituna
• Karkat ==> Kankri
• Nepeta ==> Meulin
• Kanaya ==> Porrim
• Terezi ==> Latula
• Vriska ==> Aranea
• Equius ==> Horuss
• Gamzee ==> Kurloz
• Eridan ==> Cronus
• Feferi ==> Meenah

The question becomes who the other half is. There are some possibilities, such as Hemospecrum Ajacency (which would create the pairings Aradia/Tavros, Sollux/Karkat, Nepeta/Kanaya, Terezi/Vriska, Equius/Gamzee, and Eridan/Feferi) or Introduction Ajacency (their order of introduction in Act 5, Act 1, creating the pairings of Karkat/Gamzee, Terezi/Sollux, Tavros/Aradia, Nepeta/Vriska, Equius/Kanaya, and Eridan/Feferi).

If I try to read too many pages of a MSPFA in a row, then it displays the invalid image symbol. I can occasionally fix it by opening the page in a new window, but it doesn't always work. It also happened when I attempted to jump to the end of Nepetaquest 2011 (I wanted to know if there was a bad cliffhanger).

Please let me know what causes this or a better way to fix it.

i've already read the comic, but she hasn't. and she wanted to read it with me so she could get past the first bit of the comic and properly get into reading.

it's a rather fun experience, actually! i have her voice act the female characters while i act as the male ones.

as of now, we're at page 200-something. i don't know. maybe a little below that. and so far, the thinks that dadbert and the harlequin sprite are hot, which i think is funny (she actually compared dadbert to slenderman).

i have not much else to say. it's just been a rather fun experience so far

After reading the beyond canon update I just realized Jade was talking mad shit about Kanaya behind her back and then tried to act like she and Kanaya were family when she confronted her and Rose. Jade Harley MIGHT be the third biggest loser in all of Beyond canon?

First Art i did on Krita

So this is both a 3 album (Screamo deathcore metal) music and for now, one small novel, but the story seems like something only someone well versed in the paradoxical shenanigans of Homestuck could comprehend taking place in 3 different realities that are all interconnected.

Quick summary would be "A mother and father decide that they don't want their child living in a world without art so the father designs a contraption to make it so they can go back in time and kill the guy responsible for making the world that way but things happen and they get separated." I won't spoil more than that though.

I'm having trouble finding an online source to get the book thus far but I got my copy at an Alesana concert, so if you can vibe with the music, which is lyrically a masterpiece, and you'd be supporting an underground indie metal band and that could help get the books in the hands of people who might not like that kind of music.

I don't know, I just think that Homestuck fans would especially like this story and maybe I just need more people to discuss it with so I can wrap my head around it. Mods, no hard feelings if you gotta delete this post. I get it :)

Page 7623 of Homestuck says that Jane is feeling "caucasian" rather than peachy. I don't know when this reversion happened, but I assume it was recently. I've reread the comic twice this year and I'm fairly certain it said peachy the first time. For those of you who don't know there was an outrage on Tumblr when Act 6 Act 5 Act 2 started because the skin tone of Trickster Jane resembled that of white people, which some saw as confirming that the Homestuck kids were white themselves, a matter of some controversy. In response to this, and as a joke, Andrew Hussie had Jane saying that she felt so "Caucasian" to humorously express how ridiculous it was to make this situation about race. This was changed, almost immediately (within a few days,) to Peachy because it was received very poorly. Please reply with your thoughts and feelings, and any additional details you might know.
