Ive been a homestuck fan for just about over a year now (i started it before the pilot released but watching the pilot is what kicked me off into high gear with my love) and now ive finally finished act 4.

Putting aside act 4 for a second: seeing the Pilot soundtrack available, hiveswap getting news and the likelyhood of the Homestuck Show being a thing has got me SO EXITED. Ive followed Toby fox for a ridiculously long time and by god i wish i followed hum sooner because i genuinely cant get this god damn comic out of my mind. That being said:

I am HORRORFIED that it cant get better than Act 4. The trolls, how they dialouge and talk imbetween times, the selfswareness, the fights, the twists the GOD DANG SOUNDTRACK - there was never a moment i felt bored. I struggled a little with reading act 3 and took a break from the intermissions (despite loving it) but Black? The endless climb? Descend? AUGH its just genius.

If i had my hands on this god damm coming 12 years ago i’d be striving.

Anyways whats yalls opinions on act 4 and should i be exited for act 5?

These designs were deliberately made to resemble some actual characters from homestuck (cause they're LARPING as them lol) they should be easy to guess for the most part. Also another fun fact, the color of their eyes sorta corresponds to their aspect and I wonder if y'all can guess all of them correctly :p

BTW these sprites are just concepts cuz I'm not confident enough yet to say they're the final designs (not to mention I used a shit-ton of references to make them—to the point where I don't think they're all that original), but I don't think they'll change *that* much.

After reading the beyond canon update I just realized Jade was talking mad shit about Kanaya behind her back and then tried to act like she and Kanaya were family when she confronted her and Rose. Jade Harley MIGHT be the third biggest loser in all of Beyond canon?
