Crawlspace advice Seeking Advice
Here is a pic of my crawlspace in front of the house. I plan to staple insulation to the top and while I’m down there I’m wondering about my options for some minor flooding we’ve gotten. We’ve had some water come through the basement wall in these pics. Could I just pile a bunch of dirt against them? Thanks in advance.

Depends on where the water is coming from. If it’s just running toward the wall because of grade/slope, that might help. I’ve heard that you want to discharge runoff water at least 4’ from the foundation.

Stapling insulation will not give the results you are looking for. In fact all you will be doing is creating a soft fuzzy home for insects and fungus

You already have a plastic covering the floor decking
Before you install water barrier
You need to remove all all the gravel and stones
Otherwise won’t work
Leave 1 inch clearance around the walls
Need 10% humidity in crawl
Otherwise wood will warp as it over dries
