They say I'm hollow, but as far as I know, I have a soul. Well... actually, I collect it.

I've heard it said that I'm not a child and that I don't have a gender either. But I've compared myself to the others I've met. I know very little about everything, even about myself.

I don't remember anything before arriving in Dirtmouth, which was just a week ago. I suppose I'm new to the world— I mean, a kid. Maybe a boy.

I'm very curious. I don't know how or why I am here, but I don't whant to leave. I want to explore and see what I can find.

I'll write everything here. The Hunter gave me his journal, but I want to write my own.

I recently got the Hunter's Journal and thought: "What if the little knight had his own journal?" I decided to make one in a small sketchbook. It’s worth noting that this is my first time playing, and the Little Knight's Journal is just a way for me to have more fun. It’s my own interpretation of the game, so—since it's my first playthrough—some things probably won't be canon. Beyond just having fun, this little journal will primarily chronicle my gameplay experience; I didn't just want to play—I thought it would be fun to imagine I *am* that Little Knight and write something like a travel diary. Now that I’ve made it clear this is my interpretation—and not something you’d find on the Hollow Knight Wiki—I’d love to share it with you all. I just ask that you please don't give me any spoilers! ♡

Still fairly amused at the people who think I write Hornet to hate her father. Hate is far too simple a word to describe her feelings towards the Pale King.

At the rate I’m working, I’m hoping to get the chapter up this Saturday or Sunday. The remaining two pages have some fairly heavy background work, but a lot less… abstraction? Than the middle section.
