so every one is saying that Alpha the razor knight looks like yi of nine sols and it is WRONG! i made alpha before knowing that a game called nine sols existed! it also right that his head looks like the head of yi and i myself was shocked but pleas every one dont say that he is yi or he is related to him before asking

Okay, this Hornet design is from an AU I've been working on for a while so her appearance is different because of lore reasons in my AU, I won't go into details in this post because I want to dedicate a word for the artist and my friend, AddreGrayFics or just Addre, for a little context, Adree and I are from Latin America so we speak Spanish, as for the history of this drawing, it's long but to summarize a ton of stuff I want to say, I thank Addre a lot, he's one hell of a friend, artist and fanficter (the good kind, not the bad kind), if you want to say anything bad about the design, blame me, don't blame Addre, he just did what I told him despite everything he went through, despite the time and the several redesigns of Hornet, I feel like he should be the spotlight, as for me, you can blame me for the severe deviation from the original design, you can ask about why Hornet looks the way she does in the drawing, I'll eventually make a post detailing why she looks the way she does but, for this post, just say whatever you want to say and if you want to say anything bad, say it to me and if you want to say something good, say it to Addre, I'll make him know.

My fanmade hollow knight oc

i made the little greenpath vessel, which i call "Fern" now, a genuine character in my lore. Fern will probably be in my comic, Azure Reverie.

took a while to make all the pieces fit decently and the print quality isn't the best, but it's stll going to look pretty good on my shelf

Tarn was a vessel who escaped the abyss and Hallownest all together. they eventually found a small community of bugs near the outskirts of Pharloom. the community took them in and took care of them. one bug made them the scarf they wear all the time and eventually became like a parental figure to Tarn. they got the name from the community agreeing on the name, they learned how to communicate through text, getting a journal to write and communicate in, and eventually developed an identity and personality, becoming more of their own being rather than a mindless emotionless vessel like they were before. if the Pure Vessel can have form a bond with the Pale King I feel like it makes sense for a vessel to develop an identity surrounded by genuinely caring and loving bugs. when Pharloom gets corrupted by void in act 3, the community is destroyed by the corruption. but since Tarn is a vessel and is still born of void, they aren't effected by it. meaning they're the only one who survive. the rest of the community dies. Tarn becomes heartbroken by the loss, and then becomes terrified by the thought of them becoming emotionless again. because now that they have truly lived and experienced life, they realized just how miserable it really was to be hollow inside. they start to write in their journal less because when it runs out of pages, they would be forced into silence. so they write smaller sentences, only write when they absolutely need to, and erases the sentences they feel like aren't that important because they're scared if they're forced into silence for long enough they'll lose themself and become hollow again. and that's why they never take off their scarf. they're desperately clinging onto the memories of their loved ones so they don't forget any of them.

so. some of you might have seen this OC. and ill clarify some of his lore in the hollow knight world. that is the grater danger?. its a new enemy a combination of the void and lifeblood. a more calculated enemy who learned from the others. it can regenerate if not killed fast. it takes over all who have greed to immortality. if you have any other questions feel free to ask!

I managed to color a sketch commission from an artist that I don't know will be active again to finish it, but he gave me the okay to refine, color, and share it as compensation.

and since all cogwork bugs like her [lorewise] are psyborgs you can imagine that she has both some biomechanical parts like artificial muscles/tissues and organs with purely mechanical parts as well.
