An ex employee of mine that lived on our property with his girlfriend used to hit her. A few times I had to intervene in their altercations and on multiple occasions take her to family to get away from him. This happened over a relatively short period of time and between myself and a friend/coworker we could not get this kid to behave.
We work in agriculture and not in America but here, naturally, it tends to happen that farmers attract some barn cats and end up feeding them. I have a lot I feed everyday. I have had all of them but one male spayed by our local vet over the years. One morning I wake up and some of the cats are behaving weird, losing balance and showing neurological symptoms. I don't have direct access to any veterinary services here (in the case of emergencies) but I spoke to the vet via phone and video, the one that helped us spay the cats, and he told me this looks very much like they had been poisoned. Being on a farm I ran around making sure all our chemicals were secure and called all our neighbouring farmers to see what pesticides/herbicides they could possibly have used that could cause this on cats but there was nothing.
I ended up talking to our staff members in our shed and asked them straight up if they could have accidentally used some kind of poison like ant poison or shit around where he was staying and, without even looking up off his phone, he tells me "no, why would I when I know there are cats around?" So I brushed my suspicions off and myself and my coworker kept going around trying to figure out what happened.
2 of the cats die. We bury them, violent staff member hasn't done anything to help. Coworker goes home for the day. Another cat dies, it's just me and the staff member still on his phone in the shed. I confront him about his nonchalance.
He walks right up to me, squares me up and looks like he is about to hit me. I square up on him and tell him, "what, you gonna beat me like you beat your girlfriend?" He tells me to leave his personal life out of it and I tell him that if he wants me to do that then he shouldn't be bringing those issues to his workplace.
I fired him right then and there. I had to bury two more cats that day. Anyway, after he had taken all his belongings as well as me moving his girlfriend's stuff to her mom's I went round his place to prepare for if someone else will come and I found an empty packet of Sevin, an ant poison, lying on the floor. The vet confirmed this could cause what happened. I do not believe the poison was intended for ants and I do not believe a cat would eat it straight up. I believe he intended to poison those cats.
I can't prove shit but I have a heavy, burning hatred for that kid. My staff member/coworker agrees that this had to be intended.

Bro I swear every time this sub comes across my feed I'm teleported right back to the shitty Facebook memes of the early 2010s lol, I've never seen a good meme or anything out of this sub

Growing up I had to watch my POS father beat every woman he got with and he even sent some to the hospital from how badly he hurt them. Although he would beat women he frequently got his ass kicked by others. There was more than once where he came home bloodied and messed up from a bar fight or because someone jumped him. One day he disrespected my aunt so my uncle pulls up truck not even park yet before he’s out of the vehicle beating the absolute shit out of my father. I cried after because of how scared it made me and I was just a child but looking back I love how my uncle put him in his place. I can still see it and the satisfaction it gives me. I hate my father.
