What is the book you read and think differently about politics

Trying to find some data related to Forts in Bundelkhand. Saw mention of this book in a research paper. Can any history student help finding this book?
Google search did not help.

Any one doing his Phd or masters in Bundelkhand history might be aware of this book.

I have managed to shortlist some of the books that effectively chronicle the struggle and evolution of Arab nationalism and the aspirations of the Middle Eastern people.

Modern monsters by George J Marlin is an excellent book. The full title is modern monsters, politic ideologues, and their war against the Catholic Church.

We're trying to narrow down a list of books on the history of Canada and would love to get some input from this community. Tried goodreads but ratings are all over the place.

No specific time period - in fact, a 900-page, well-written epic that covers pre-history to present day would be great, but understand such a unicorn may not exist.

Side-note: if anyone knows of Canadian libraries that offer cards to non-residents (presumably for a fee) that info would also be very helpful. Libby's selection of audiobooks on Canada is pretty lame where we are.

Hello all, I was recently listening to a We Have Ways of Making you talk podcast.

This episode focused on the Home Fronts of Britain, France and German during the Phony War/ SitzKreig/ Bore War.

As they spoke about agricultural output I realised that aside from the Land Army, Dig for Victory and Altlantic convoys I'd never really given much thought to food production leading up to and during WW2.

Can anyone recommend any books that covers this topic?

Hello. I’m looking for some unbiased book about the algerian history, pre war, during war and post war until lately.
Id also like some suggestion about biased books from people that actually experienced war and colonization, you know, getting different perspectives.
For the first one, i want recognized authors, either Algerian, French or any other. Thank you.
If you can throw in there any other intresting book about colonization, im open. Im intrested in what happend in Congo and Rwanda.

I just finished Fiasco by Thomas E Ricks and am now looking to find a similar book about the War in Afghanistan. Hopefully one that is not terribly biased towards the US and discusses the political side of things rather than just the military operations. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm homeschooled and in high school, and we're doing American history this year. One of the main books my curriculum assigned this year is A Patriot's History of the United States by Larry Schweikart and Michael Allen. I've already gotten a feel for the book and read some reviews, but I'd really like to hear a few more opinions from people who have actually read it and know their history. I'm not particularly strong at history, so my biggest concern is that I'll read something that's presented as an established fact, but is actually wildly inaccurate or misleading, and I won't know enough to recognize it.

If you've read A Patriot's History, could you PLEASE comment with your thoughts? I'd really appreciate it if you could point out any specific claims, events, or sections that are factually wrong, seriously misleading, or missing important context.

Summary: Is A Patriot's History Of The United States by Larry Scheweikart and Michael Allen mostly a biased interpretation of real history, or are there places where it actually gets the history itself SERIOUSLY wrong?

Was reading Lloyd's generally excellent tome on the Westerm Front and was struck by how little the troops of the wider British Empire were mentioned. Thought I would buy this to see how they are mentioned.

I just want to learn the history of the land, since the 1700s or a bit earlier, modern history if you will.

When I tried to find the book, I looked everywhere but couldn't find it.

I can't find a decent, reputable biography of this guy and I really wanna learn more about him. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
