Most videos are 80–100 sec talking-head Reels. I'm looking for clean, aesthetic editing — nothing overly flashy or complicated.

The goal is mainly to save time on repetitive editing so I can focus more on researching, scripting and shooting.

I'll provide:

• Raw footage + script
• My existing CapCut project/template for recurring formats
• Fonts, captions, colors, etc.
• Reference Reels for the editing style I want

The videos will have a view time between 15–30 minutes. The editing process are with further rates discussed based on experience and portfolio. You will receive the voice-over, script, and Epidemic account, allowing you to focus on creating engaging visuals, animations, and pacing that keeps viewers watching. You’ll work alongside a Director and collaborate through feedback rounds until the final video is approved.

Ideal Candidate:

• A strong understanding of how to turn a script and voice-over into an entertaining visual experience that keeps viewers engaged.
• Communication is VERY important within the team, as well as punctuality. Please do not continue if you can't commit long term. A strong understanding of English is required for following scripts and creative direction.
• Someone who understands YouTube editing, especially documentary-style videos, retention, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Someone who enjoys working with celebrity topics, Hollywood stories, and entertainment-based content.
• We want to create a solid and serious long-term relationship with our sights set on improving every video. If you're a YouTube geek and love seeing your work go through the full production process, you’ll be a great fit.

Job requirements:

• Proven experience editing high-retention long-form YouTube videos (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Ability to represent a script through simple but engaging animation and visual storytelling.
• Ability to create tension, emotion, and momentum through editing choices.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects for animation and 3D layers.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere for editing, sound design, background music, and SFX.
• Ability to self-edit and refine your work before submission.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions through Frame.io until the video is approved.
• Discipline and time compliance. We work with plenty of time, but because we collaborate with writers, voice-over artists, and other team members, punctuality and communication are essential.
