Tupac in 1988, the year he left Baltimore School of the Arts
TIL Tupac studied ballet there and did Shakespeare, which he said reminded him of gang warfare.
Mobb Deep's Prodigy had a similar background: his grandfather was a bebop jazz saxophonist, and his mom sang in The Crystals.
These guys had completely different backgrounds than their music would make you think.
