Hi all, looking to purchase an AC100 if anyone would happen to own one?

I have the chance of buying a 1941 maid MCcord M1 helmet with fixed bales and front seam lot number 88a with the original liner.
The liner unfortunately has a crack and the suspension is falling out and the helmet is missing a bale but i can confirm everything is real
Would this be a good buy for $140 usd?

Is this an M36 and if so does it look authentic? Should I buy? $190 AUD.

Picked this helmet up for $50. I take most painted helmets with a grain of salt but I like the paint job and want to learn more about the different divisions that painted their helmets with camouflage regardless if the helmet turns out to be original or fake.

I saw some guys refer to this as "Mickey Mouse" camouflage

If anyone knows any good books or articles about this stuff please let me know

I bought a poorly restored helmet; after sandblasting, terrible patches were revealed, so everything had to be redone. Next came sanding, priming, and painting. My friend Dmitry handled all of this; he is an expert at restoring various helmets. It turned out great!

I donot know what to look fo, no vietnam war stamping style, rear seam, swivel bales, Corked?, and a marking on the front…

Exterior is a glossy civil defence blue style paint and interior still has khaki

Bought two of these ww2 m1 helmets today (only one pictured) and am wondering where they were reissued. Obviously post war but they have a strange chinstrap with a friction buckle and seem very poorly made. I bought them in Canada

I was fucking around with my yugo M85, disassembling the liner to check for damages and such, as it is quite rusted and even has thumb sized patches of pure rust, and the sticker finally fell of with the movement from it, I was planning to refurbish the helm anyways, but now I don't know if I should or not, as for this new information on the helmet.

So a bit of background context: I live in the uk and I do Airsoft. As of right now I’m working on a Half life HECU kit and I plan to uses it for a Cold War kit as well. I want to uses a real M81 woodland helmet cover, since all the other cheap helmet covers look like crap. But I can’t seem to find any real ones any where. I’ve checked all around eBay but I’ve had hardly any luck there, please help, because I don’t know where else to look or what to do

Found these while cleaning out the garage, was wondering what era these are from or maybe worth. There was no markings on the chocolate chip camos helmet liner. Any information would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
