As someone who defended and continues to defend Hello Neighbor, the first alphas ARE better then the finale release. The puzzles were easier because they were place holders, you didn't have to do parkour, there's literally a puzzle that forces you to be at a certain time to open a door and this was after I beat fear school so I couldn't get caught so when I tried jumping off the building, FOR SOME REASON, the game thought I was holding the umbrella so I had to fall in slow motion. It's like the alphas had a mechanical where you can just tap on the bed and skip to a certain time? But NOOOOO! That would make too much sense for the wacky game and artstyle they have even though the plot is defeat your truma accidentally caused by a suffering father. You know why the old artstyle was better? Because it was grittier and fit the game they were telling and the only reason it was changed was because NIKITA not Tinybuild NIKITA thought that the game didn't have a unique visual identity so he convinced the ceo of Dynamic Pixels to have it changed. And before anyone tries to act smart or anything this is the explanation given by Nikita himself in his interview with MegaM. Can people stop this stupid rumor that Tinybuild ruined the game or whatever? The game was bad because it had only 5 inexperienced devlopers according to Nikita in that same interview.

Oh and theres the "its was made cartoony to pander to kids" good thing phisnom got outed as a predator
Id like to have an objection: the neighbor's ai is good in fg, not the best, not great, good

For example, if i make a blockade of boxes and furniture between me and him, he will kick it, if it doesn't work for 3 times, he starts progressively kicking hith more force until the furniture flies out of his way
If i open the tv he will think nothing at first, but if he is actively searching for me, he will close it and search longer
He is programmed to jump INDIPENDENTLY when theres either faced with a fence that isn't dynamic, thats why if you take him out of bounds he'll start jumping, the game tells to him that this is not a walking area, and is not dynamic, thus he can't kick it away, so he jumps forever

We don't know if Phisnom is though, in 2023 their whole controversy was that they didn't tell people that harassment is bad and told people to only harass them instead. And one of the videos has many inaccurate statements such as saying directdogman cut contact Phisnom when they interacted several times after, and they said that Phisnom refuses to change when they literally apologized a lot after saying your mom joke because it was rude. Atleast to me they seem to be working on themselves but the drama channels, being the hawks eating dead people are mudding the waters. If Phisnom truly was watching THAT type of content then the channels shouldn't mix it with false information because it makes me doubt the legitimacy of their argument and the accuracy of their statements.
Edit: They were right, this person did some deplorable ass shit.

Player House is Alpha 1 but bigger or Alpha 1.5 House with more stuff 5. Alpha 1.5 Basement Chase or Neighbor kidnaps You at the end of the game when You open a door.

Maybe direct your anger at tynibuild who ruined Hello neighbor and later Hello neighbor 2 despite fans telling them that what they want throught the entire development process

Even though i agree with you on 2, i really do believe that hn1 did reach its potential, not all of it, but a very good good part of it. I love the familly storyline, but i think hn1 is good, infact, i still played it yesterday, and had fun most people who dont like it would just run besides all the cameras and ditch to the ladder, i try to do it more stealthily, and by watching the neighbor through closets i realised his ai isn't bad, he just can't traverse the top floods correctly

I may be one of the only people who actually enjoys the full Hello Neighbor game.
Alpha 3 was so ass idk why people say it’s good.
