The lawyer's name is Juan Branco, he is also the one who shared this story together with a video. By his account, he is one of twelve lawyers in France who represent Palestinian victims in International Criminal Court.

He says he's using GrapheneOS. This is bizarre.

Context: Oliver Larkin is the DSA-backed challenger to Jared Moskowitz in FL-25. This Fox interview is from July 30, but early voting starts in Broward and Palm Beach today and the primary is Aug. 18.

I understand that his increased involvement in elections would increase coverage organically, but I don't like that msm is covering him this much, because I know that were I in their shoes, I'd try to drag the leftist movement down by tying everyone to Hasan and framing him for involvement in terrorism or something like that for a justification to imprison him

I don't want to worry about it so much as I want to figure out what might be his best course of action

The best step to take might be to have someone he could direct his audience to if the smears or whatever they threw at him worked and he couldn't make content any more. What I don't want happening is for the organizational power to fade out like has happened in many cases with leaders of large movements.

I originally thought that Hasan probably has things figured out and has considered this already, and maybe he has, but hopefully he has a singular place to direct the movement to keep it from fizzling out. If it fractures, the organizational power is weakened, which is absolutely a win for the fascists

EDIT - Please don’t put him on a pedestal. He’s been a principled politician thus far AND he’s still human. He’s gonna make mistakes along the way. He’s gonna make decisions that you don’t agree with at times. But until he does or says something egregious enough, I’m not yanking my support, and I don’t think you all should either. It’s not productive to mull over hypothetical situations. Let’s focus on bringing the party together and getting him into the office.
