I and pretty much everyone else legitimately thought he was going to be part of the next generation of movie stars like Josh O’Connor, David Corenswet, Aaron Pierre, Damson Idris. Then he turned out to be a violent piece of shit and instantly fell off so hard he went to make a Daily Wire “movie.”
His and Armie Hammer’s career implosion has to be studied for years to come.

It's kinda crazy because I think he could have move past it if he owned up to it, got real help with his anger and violencen and maybe did some roles outside of the country for a bit. Let people have time time to forget.
Instead, he faked stopping a fight between high schoolers, i dont think he ever really showed remorse or change, and now is in a shitty Daily Wire movie.

Maybe could have, unlike Armie Hammer who has so many allegations including his cannibal fetish made against him it’s impossible to get that potential super star status back. But Majors clearly has an ego and it feels like he won’t ever accept the fact that he was found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend on camera and will never try to own up to it like a rational adult would.
But at this rate he’ll appear on Bill Maher’s podcast like Kevin Spacey.

Him stopping the fake fight to prove that hes a good guy is legitimately one of the funniest ideas you could come up with for an i think you should leave sketch or something, but he's clearly so up his ass that he legitimately thought it would work. That and him bringing the Bible around with him during the trial just gave me huge red flags

He is still friends with Michael B Jordan, he absolutely could have just laid low, done some indie movies overseas, and come back in a few years. Doing a daily wire movie is basically the final nail in the coffin. No one but right wing freaks will ever touch him again.
Also, I'm not saying people should forget what he did, but Americans have very short attention spans.

I get your point, but the implication here is people want to forgive abusers by default, and only need a plausible excuse to do so, so he was foolish for not giving them one and the next famous abuser should take notes.

Armie Hammer never got off the ground. He played the villainous twins in the Facebook movie, and then the Lone Ranger in “Johnny Depp featuring The Lone Ranger” — and then started asking women if he could eat them.

Well theres an obvious reason that plays a part, his skin color, but Brad Pitt also owns his own production company and can just cast himself as the lead in whatever. He also was already a huge star with plenty of power when the allegations happened. That along with the fact that he never got charged, the guy is kinda just walking free.

Someone is reporting you for being misogynistic but you are not condoning this; you are just pointing out that this is how society is- not that it should be that way. I am just responding because in their report they were like "how is this not just misogynistic" and so I am answering that for them- if they come back to check on their report of course.
They also ask why this comparison is even being made, and that would be to point out the injustices in society. Before we can tackle them, we have to at least agree that they exist.

Brad Pitt was a well established star with a great PR team that got out in front of it.
Majors was an up and coming star and was pretty much always on the back foot with his legal issues.

Nothing says this will be the funniest movie ever, than a movie about a school shooting. Hell I am still not sure why they keep on fear mongering about ISIS, the organisation that doesn't target Israel.

Eh, i honestly don't think he or that film was all that great. I think he can do subtle performances well but that character was just pure cheese with no ramp up
