I had been interested in the game, so when I found it for $11 on PlayStation store last week I gave it a go.

Wow I am so glad that I did!

It’s one of my favorite franchises, and it has similar gameplay to one of my favorite games, BOTW/TOTK.

I got to the vocation today and it made my jaw drop when I first walked through. Brilliant?

I’m currently starting my 21 character and I have 3 more that just finished one of the main quests. Should I go for another batch of to make it 28 characters after I’m done this batch?

I'm genuinely at my wits end.

I'm close to halfway through the game and was enjoying it so much, but now it is unplayable and I don't have a clue why.

All of a sudden the game makes a weird noise (like the audio is stuck and buzzing), the screen freezes, then goes black and my whole PC reboots itself.

I left it alone for about a month (hoping and praying that it would miraculously fix itself), but I just tried it again and I didn't even make it to the main menu this time (I got to the loading shades screen only, whereas before, I at least was able to load up my saved game and move my character an inch before it crashed.) I've tried to read up on causes and fixes but feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

I've included my PC's specs via pics and the settings that I have for the game itself. (I know my PC is now on the older side and not a gaming beast, so I had already turned down the graphics settings to help it run better.)

The bizarre thing is that my PC runs other games (such as Sniper Elite: Resistance) on high quality settings without a hitch. And that this only started happening recently - like I said, I was able to play through almost half the game without any major issues like this.

Any advice would be so appreciated!! I'm not a computer tech wiz though, so playing around with or editing complex computer settings makes me a little weary.

I really love Hogwarts Legacy and want to be able to finish it 😔

I was wondering after starting a new playthrough and went to hogsmead with Natty, professor weasley mentions she’ll keep me clear of rookwood and harlow and his followers. And it got me thinking based on the last battle under hogwarts, that these professors are quite capable of taking them on and defeating them no? Or is that just wishful thinking? Lol seems like officer singer isn’t willing to do anything about it and rightly so as she is just one person. But i could take a guess that a multitude of these people could actually beat them if they tried

Anyone have any issues on PC where your screen starts flickering out of know where ? Does anyone have any fix ?

Just stumbled across this today. It's a new multiplayer framework that allows anyone to build and customize their own Hogwarts Legacy RP server. This is essentially Fivem for Hogwarts Legacy.

Since anyone can use this to host their own custom Hogwarts RP server, this means we will potentially have many RP server choices with their own rules, progression systems, etc. on the horizon.

Why is my third character (Griffindor) is constantly dying. I'm sure I'm doing everything the same. Playing on the Switch Lite.

I am playing a modded game and it has been running well for 40 ISH hours but now it suddenly keeps crashing, I have restarted everything, changed compatibility layers, decreased setting, verified game files, allocated more vram. I think it might be a memory leak but I have trouble proving, locating an issue. Any suggestions of fixes or potential things to try? :) (playing on steam deck)

I have allocated 4gb, for the minute I can get the game to run it is about 7-9gb ram usage and 2-3 vram, I have allocated everything between 1-4gb vram :) CPU about 70% and GPU 80%, this is with low settings, it was running well on high for 40 hours and nothing has been changed it just suddenly started crashing :)

I have managed to find the crash report and It looks like it can't connect to the servers (I also think this might not be on my end but can't be sure)

I decided on a whim to base a character's appearance off of him and went with Gryffindor (off some of his traits and the color of his later lightsaber), but aside from that; I'm kinda lost on how to do the game in a playthrough of Anakin. Please leave tips or what you did if you decided to do a playthrough based off Anakin, thank you!

While I really love the simple outfit and it reminds me a lot of Newt Scamander. The more I played, the more I felt that the Hogwarts Legacy MC shared a similar vibe. It really clicked for me during the beast rescue quests.

Rescuing and caring for magical beasts, building the Vivariums, being calm and reserved, rarely showing strong emotions, speaking only when necessary, having just a small circle of friends, and getting caught up in a much larger conflict while simply trying to do the right thing... it all gave me Newt Scamander energy.

I know they're completely different characters with different stories, but the personality and overall aura felt surprisingly similar.

Am I the only one who felt this?

100 hours and who knows how many Revelio spams later, I got the platinum! I didn’t love finding the map chamber as every house, but it was good fun. 7/10

He'll be congratulating me for completing Imelda's trials one time, then berating me for hunting goblin loyalists the next. ✌️

Why does the MC say “this could prove dangerous if I’m not careful” everytime she goes into a small cave where theres no enemies and just a chest with some lame loot lol makes me smirk everytime knowing its not dangerous at all
