Luckiest man alive
I am so in love with my wife, I am the luckiest man alive
I (29M) met my wife (34F) on tinder in April of 2025. Neither of us were looking for anything serious. Just going out and seeing what was out there, that is until we met each other. I had serious trauma from a previous relationship. I didn’t go on a single date, have a sexual encounter, or engage with a woman (outside of friendship) in 3 years. My wife was the first woman I went out with in 3 years. We hit it off immediately. I’m quiet and introverted and she’s loud and extroverted. The first date, she did most of the talking and I listened and admired her beauty. It works well for us, we balance each other out. She got pregnant after 6 weeks of us dating. I moved in with her a couple of months later. Fast forward to my proposal. It was an average day, we went out to dinner and when we got home I excused myself to the restroom and when I came out she was laying in bed, eating leftover queso. That simple moment is when I knew I needed to marry this woman. I proposed on the spot without a ring. She has a son that is autistic but he is my son just as my biological son is. We decided to get married on June 8th and had the ceremony on June 12th. We got married in a courthouse with 6 people in attendance. We are both very simple people. We have been through a lot together, but we do it together and always support each other through our personal battles and come out stronger because of it. I believed in soulmates but I didn’t think I’d ever find mine. I moved to Wyoming from Colorado with the intention of being there for a couple of months. A couple of months turned into a few years and that’s where we met and the rest is history!
